Agree that Aldi has value for money products. This one is a popular model in the Leatherman line up, thought it might help someone out there looking for the Wave Plus.

These things are great, however, i owned the wave for several years until i lost it somehow and replaced it with the slightly lighter leatherman rebar and i would say a worthwhile down/upgrade. Wave was fantastic but just a little bit too heavy imo, sitting in your pocket weighed me down just a tiny bit more than i would have liked. The rebar has like 90% of the same tools but only 190g vs 241g. Doesn't sound like heaps but its enough of a weight reduction that it just generally feels a lot less dense and you can carry it around without noticing its there.
I just did an eBay search on that one & it doesn't appear to have scissors, bummer.

The warranty on these things is incredible. I wore out the file on mine and sent it off to get fixed, they just sent me a new one.
Agreed, the pliers broke during normal use and it was fixed and returned no fuss.
FYI - Fingers crossed the don't cancel orders, it appears they killed the code because it was implemented incorrectly, shouldn't have been $50 off, should have been $10.

If you're after something basic and one tenth of the price, some aldi stores have their version on clearance for $8-10.
They have a plier/hammer/shifter versions.
I bought some to leave in the car.
Definitely does the job for most.
