  • I think I paid less for a real ozito from bunnings. ~$30 for the skin iirc. Although I wouldn't mind buying just the case!

  • Battery looks like the FERREX 20V sold at Aldi

    • The Ferrex battery has 5 contacts, this has just 3.

    • Ferrex batteries are truly good kit, this will have rubbish cells that won't last even if you charge the batteries early.

  • Buy the ozito skin for under $50 for those already in the ecosystem.

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-angle-grinder-skin…?

If not into the eco system, you'd be far better off investing in an ozito battery/charger rather than this generic stuff.

  • As is constantly said, why buy this no name device over something from Hammerbarn with their bulletproof returns and warranty policies.

    • Gunna give us a link for Hammerbarn … nothing comes up in a search

  • Get this brushless one instead.
I bought the skin only and use my ozito batteries on it (converted it).
I also own the brushed ozito pxc one too.

    • High energy brandless devices, where the manufacturer has zero responsibility or liability for anything that causes damage/harm. Personally I wouldn't be in a rush to use it.

      • Angle grinders are simple devices. You switch them on and they spin.
Wear appropriate ppe and it's no more dangerous than any other angle grinder

    • Yep, have one of these 2.5yrs and a genuine Makita, one has a cutting and one a grinding disk so I'm not constantly changing the disks, Makita batteries are unkillable!

  • The batteries are rubbish, just like Ozito crap! if you're going to buy knock off tools, but the Makita knock offs and genuine Makita batteries, have the angle grinder and 1/2" rattle gun which has a 1/4" drive adapter in the middle of the 1/2" drive adapter, both work well with regular use after 2.5yrs

  • Just checked the whole webstore, they don't offer any replacement batteries except the 3ah or lower, 3ah comes with this grinder, they do sell 4ah batteries with one tool but don't offer them separately, the tools are toys at best!
