Segway Ninebot KickScooter F65 $999 + Delivery ($0 C&C/In-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi

90

Recently released scooter from Segway.

Was $1199 in Boxing Day sales, went back to $1399 afterwards but now down to $999.

Roughly comparable to Segway Ninebot G30 Max but rider weight limit for F65 is 120kg rather than 100kg, and the scooter itself is slightly heavier.

Potential buyers may want to compare with G65 Max 2 which is notionally the G30 Max upgrade, but this is not on sale.

Few reviews available because it is still to be released in many places.

I believe it meets current regulations in WA for riding on local streets and pavements, at least that’s what I’ll say if anyone asks.

So tempting to become a criminal (in NSW)…

Well… Not really a criminal but a road rules offender.

    • They are everywhere in the Greater Sydney area and noone seems to care as long as you aren't a pain in the arse on one.

Of course, they are still against the rules.

Almost everyone on one is a pain in the arse, menaces haha
Get a bicycle and some exercise, heath benefits..

        • Get Arse rash tooo

    • Move to melbourne… will be legal in 2 months

      • Along with Victoria?

        • +2

Not sure about wider VIC but almost certain to be legal in and around the CBD, and inner suburbs once current trial is ticked off.. i cant see them going this far to just ban them.. councils that endorce public and privately own e-scooter have spent millions prepping roads for bike lane and messing up road traffic to accommodate for e-scooters and bikes so there is more access and less need to ride of footpaths which tends to be a big sticking point on legalising these in most cities around the world.

  • Does anyone have any insights on this compared to the F40A?

It is currently on sale at Catch for $699, which seems ridiculous given its price elsewhere, but I'm suspicious this is a refurbished model (even though it isn't stated anywhere): https://www.catch.com.au/product/segway-ninebot-kickscooter-…

I checked and it's a refurb. They'll update the listing.

      • Thanks for that.

  • i wish these had the under board led lighting like the es4

    • Plenty of after market options if it's important to you.

  • These scoots sound smoking hot (literally).
