  • 75W not 45W

      Would be 75w combined

      45W usb c max. + 30W usb a max total = 75w yes. People read 74w as missleading and cant charge a 60w notebook

Yep I've had those comments a few times now.

        • I bet 😂

        • It’ll still charge a 60W notebook in a pinch, at least if you’re not actively using it while charging… EG let it charge while you’re driving to your next location

  • I have a Toocki TQ-CC02 version, which promises 45W combined. The USB-C port does charge my Pixel 6 Pro rapidly, so that's good. But my complaint with it is that whenever I plug the mobile in to the USB-C port, the voltage on the USB-A port drops so much and for such a long time that it causes my dashcam that is connected to it to restart. Yes, I know I should hardwire the dashcam, but still annoying.

    • I think this is due smart alternator in your car. It’s trying to prioritise charging the car battery

  • This work for Pixel 7 Pro?

I believe the Pixel 7 Pro needs the USB-PD PPS standard to fast charge at the highest speed which this charger has. So it'll certainly fast charge but not at the fastest speed.

      • Sorry, Little confused.

You're saying the phone needs USB PD PPS to charge at the highest speed which this has.

But, then you mention it will not be at the fastest speed. So what is needed to charge at fastest speed if not USB PD PPS? (genuinely want to know)

It's a bit tricky. Basically the Pixel 7 Pro charges at 23W max and this requires a charger to support PPS to achieve the correct level. I believe this car charger does not support PPS so it wouldn't charge at 23W. 18W instead, perhaps 22.5W or worst case 15W.

  • Doesn’t seem to exist. Says product not there. Can find one listing but not at that price?
