Yes. Amplified antennas amplify the signal, but also the noise. They might make a marginal digital signal not drop out so often, but really they are rubbish. Using the word "digital" in the product description is deceptive as there's nothing in these antennas that makes them beneficial over old UHF/VHF 'analog' antennas.
People would do much better to buy a proper rooftop antenna or subscribe to something like FetchTV.
Whats the amplified gain db amount?
Better off making your own for cheaper.

Tried this one as an indoor digital antenna, in a good reception area, but it certainly wasn't good. Could never get all channels at once.
Returned it for a refund. Got rabbit ears instead and now have all channels.
I've been using this antenna (bought at DSE) for half year, which is good for indoor use. It can get all channels at the same time. Unfortunately, my tv is broken recently, so I would like to sell the antenna at a very cheap price. If anyone interested, please email me.
These are rubbish. Bought one, got it home, realised it was a return, tried it, got SBS and nothing else, returned it.
These were awesome for me… Paid full price about a month ago, big upgrade from rabbit ears, able to pickup all channels now :)
