This is a good price, I already have it paid retail when it came out($399? can't remember) and I still think I got a good deal for what you get.

If unfamiliar, it has:

Bluetooth
Step counter
Moon Phase
Map routes with waypoints (made on computer and uploaded)
Compass
App and software are pretty good too
More…

Cheaper here if you can don't mind it being the esport edition:

Garmin Instinct Esports Edition, Gaming Smartwatch, Black Lava https://amzn.asia/d/2GSn4Xg

    $228.16

    • Good find but the red writing is a bit ugly to me. Personal taste I guess.

    • eSport edition of a GPS watch. Well I never…

first link on google, is this the same watch? https://www.anacondastores.com/camping-hiking/lighting-elect…

    • No stock, Delivery might make it more expensive

There is stock. Online delivery is free since it's more than $99. Therefore the Amazon US listing is more expensive.

        • Try and add it to your cart, maybe my browser is not working but it won't let me.

        • Nil stock

    • My order from Anaconda was accepted and then cancelled.
Ordered on Sat ok but then they emailed today (Mon) stating could not be fulfilled. $$$ are being refunded.

The biggest bonus I found with this watch is its set and forget. I have the Solar edition(jurys out on whether its worth it or not, you need to be outdoors lots to get the full benefit). I get about 30 days usage out of it before needing to charge, for me personally I refuse to use a smart watch that needs to be charged daily, it takes the convenience away from it. All I need from my watch is the time, date and a vibration to tell me my phone is ringing or I got a text. anything deeper than that Ill just pull the thing out of my pocket. This fits the bill perfectly. I don't even use the mountain of other features it comes with.

This is the same reason I'm still rocking my OG pebble smartwatch. This seems like major overkill for your purpose though… Why not just get something like this??

      • Had a look at all the designs and the garmin instinct was the best looking, plus the solar was a huge +1 for me too. I wanted to get a pebble but missed out on that project!

  • Very solid watch. Stands up to surfing and saunas - both of which killed my previous watches!

But too expensive for an outdated model.

      • +2

Probably worth holding out for the Instinct 2 to come down a bit. Currently ~$400, so this is a fair bit cheaper

Outdated model not worth more than $200. Previous deal from JB (Perks) price was $190. I was struggling to pay still that. Go for instinct 2 Solar when under $390… Ryda via EBay had the instinct one before for $186…

    • Are there any other Bluetooth GPS watches for under $200?

Its not outdated for what it offers: reliability, sturdiness and a long life battery. These qualities always stay in fashion.
It still gets regular updates, tracks activities with a reasonable amount of accuracy and the app fully supports it.

      Still a bargain.
