      I have had quite a few Redbreast - the 12,15, Lustau. I haven't tried the 21 yet. I agree it is a lovely drop

      TBH Macallan core range are overrated. But not offensive.

        Good list. I much preferred the Glenlivet 12 Illicit Still to the Licensed Dram. I would also add the Bowmore 15 Darkest to as it is a reasonable price on this deal.

        The cheapest Sherry bomb I can see is actually a blended malt - Berry Bros. & Rudd Sherry Cask at $70.19.

            @Chocobros: Worth trying if you like heavily sherried whisky. It is not Glendronach, but the price isn't either. There is batch variation I am told, but I do not have sufficient experience (bottles) of the whisky to comment on that.

          Yeah agree. Illicit still is far better, and actually one that surprised me across the Glenlivet range. Normally they are "Glen Nothing" in profile but Illicit still was very palatable. Licensed Dram has a funky savoury side to it, have to be accustomed to like it I think.

      So Boozebud have just sent me a message saying they don't have stock and are offering a refund or something similar in price range of $5 either side. I have responded with an official NOPE - I will wait to the product is in stock and for them to send it to me

          This was the message I received:
          We recently transitioned to a new warehouse. Unfortuantely, we have just become aware that our ordering system has not been completely in synch with their inventory, and so orders made on both the customer facing and admin side have not gone to process, with no indication as to the stock shortage. Unfortuantely, it looks like the above may be related to that. This has also affected replacement orders.

          While we certainly did our best during this transition, this was an unforeseen issue that we have just become aware of. We apologise profusely and I am doing the best with the tools available to me during this challenging period.

          At this juncture, since it’s unclear when we will get the stock in, and knowing you may have to make other arrangements, we can either refund in full or provide a similar product of your choosing—listed on our store—within a $5 price difference.

            @tnarg: I just got an email saying there is a warehouse clearance sale … so it might be true.

            But $5 difference is a pittance. Unless you really want the GD21 then I say make them send you one eventually. There is stock around that they can acquire.
