Welcome to the club my friend, this is why i live in daily fear of OzBargainFomo

      • +3

Ozbargain is permanently on refresh on my 3rd monitor

    • "This is the way"

    • +1

The key is to have an alert for "price error"

      • yeah but it's always 10-15mins late to notify

        • +1

Ozbargain needs to speed up their email servers.

      • +1

Easier to turn on Trending Deal in subscriptions.

  • +1

Was about to check out but decided to pass

    • +2

Is that what bunnings power pass is?

      • Mighty Muzeeb for Monitor

  • +2

Pricing error no doubt. Unlike in stock click and collect items may fly under the radar, this one vendor has to process it and there is no chance they will let it slip through.

  • +3

“new Aim” that’s OzPlaza on eBay. They will cancel and refund like they did with the mattresses on Myer. It Bunnings MarketPlace and not for fulfilled by Bunnings.

    • We should do a wiki page with all the permutations of ozplaza. Not that they’re dodgy or anything but it’s simply not widely known how enormous they are.

  • +1

    Refunded

    • +1

Was worth a shot. This one was a bit too crazy though to slip through. Imagine a massive 250kg, $1200+ massage chair rocking up on your doorstep for less than 150 beans.

  • +1

I wonder if thats their wholesale price they entered in the system or just a typo

    • +3

Seems like they missed the last zero to me

  • Is that the first price error post for 2023?

    • Cadbury chocolates…. I have bags of the stuff! Thanks Coles.

  • Where it is getting delivered?I tried my address and couple of (known) postcode, but everytime message appears - cannot be delivered to this address.

    • You're too late to the party mate

  • Congratulations enjoy the cancellation refund and a replacement voucher

    • +2

I would have bought it just to get the replacement voucher

      • Same but I missed out this time. Few years ago they had a drone with similar mix up and the voucher was a win.

  • As it is third party no way this will be shipped

  • -6

    lol!

    • +1

      Missing the "9"

    • +3

I shop for all my indoor furniture needs at BBQs Galore!

    • +2

Why does a BBQ store sell an indoor massage chair..

      • Same reason auspost is selling nbn services. They want to make money.

  • Thats one ugly looking chair

  • +3

    Refunded. Reason out of stock.

  • +2

I go now to get a massage with Happy End. Good luck getting this honored and your money back…

  • +4

    Refunded.

  • -6

bought 10x ……you gotta be in it to win it!

  • Refunded - reason Out of Stock. Will be interesting to see if ANYONE got their chair.

    • any vouchers?

      • Nada

    • Refunded same reason as well out of stock

  • +2

    • +6

How is anyone 'pleased' with an unsolicited refund lol

      • +9

They are pleased that they won't be losing money selling you an item well below cost to them.

  • Total refund amount: $146.95
Reason for the refund: Out of stock

  • Just got the refund email :D

  • Got my refund as well, can anyone that paid for postage comment if they got the postage refunded as well?

    • +2

Didn't order. But money you put out for a product you attempted to purchase and deal fell through. That should all be returned to you. Postage costs included as you received nothing.

    • +1

Yeah man, $349 refunded inclusive of postage. Paid using paypal

  • +1

Why are people continuing to up vote the deal?

    • +10

You haven't noticed a sheep mentality on this site?

      • +3

Entitled is another word that springs to mind reading the latest comments.

Probably a few here who believe in the Tooth Fairy too.

        • +1

Probably a few here who believe in the Tooth Fairy too.

          Wait! What?

        • a few here who believe in the Tooth Fairy too

You take that back. The tooth fairy is real. And so is Santa claus

          🙃

      • Baaaaa is that you ??

    • +1

Because it's quite nice of someone to inform others of a bargain, especially a price error that may allow you to get the item at a price that no-one would reasonably sell it at. Why are you so negative on this post?

      • +2

Because it expired AGES ago and no one is getting it.

So why continue to up vote it?

        • Because people want to recognise it as a bargain and upvoting is the easiest way to do that. It also encourages others to do so in the future as they can see they are some of the most popular deals (obtainable or not)

          • @SpainKing: Cool. It's a bargain. Lmao.

That has no relevance to other deals as NO ONE GOT IT.

I'm sure the 3rd party seller, probably a tiny ma and pop business can't wait to go outta business to help out entitled fools who'll argue the merits of the cancellation.

            • @scuderiarmani: Yeah, we're on a bargain site in case you forgot. It also acts as some people's entertainment for the day and a price error is more exciting than a regular ol' bargain.

Why would a deal need to be relevant to any other post? It's often encouraged to make a separate deal if you find a new bargain rather than just adding it in the comments of a pre-existing one. I don't get mad on a Bunnings deal because it doesn't relate to the Cheesecake Shop. My head doesn't explode when people attempt to buy a price error knowing it won't be honoured in hope of getting a gift card or discount code. I don't act like a baby with a full diaper when people upvote deals (regardless of expiration/attainability) like some

I'm sure OzPlaza (with it's $300m in revenue) is a very small operation owned and run by two geriatrics, and couldn't afford a loss of a couple tens of thousands of dollars. Just glad they didn't have to cart those 250kgs chairs all around Australia on their frail backs

              • @SpainKing: You think I'm going to read all that, hours later on an expired post that no one got?

                Mate, move on.

  • Almost had instant regret about getting the other massage chair

  • haha… out of stock as the reason, refunded.

    • +1

Well they couldn't put 'because some numpty put the wrong sale price' so refunded.

      • They could. In fact, they're allowed to cancel due to price error. However, I'm not sure they're actually allowed to cancel due to being "out of stock"?

I thought if it wasnt a genuine price error and they've taken the money then it's a valid contract to supply, or something like that. Not that id be a jerk about it here.

  • +5

Please if anyone gets the chair for that price, please let the ozbargain community know.

    • -1

Will you believe me if I say yes?

      • +14

Will you believe me that next time that I find s price error I won't post. Because honestly there are a lot of smartasses and unpreciated people . You post something, everything they do , it's whinge and post a punch of bs. What's the age of the average ozbargainer 15 y.o ?

        • +3

Most haters don’t post deals either

          Thanks for posting

Try to think of all the negativity from the haters as a win since they’ve been triggered

        • You should have been here 5yrs ago when the people were good.

          • +1

@Ashy Larry: I have been following/using ozbargain for a year now. Honestly I don't find it amusing to post anymore. Plus there isn't anything to gain by posting deals here. I do it for the community but it looks like some people here don't deserve it.

            • +1

@Scrooge McDeal: Yeh agree. I really hate leechers. At a minimum show they right level of appreciation. I feel like there needs to be reward system implemented because in the end, why bother posting deals right?

              • +1

@richmond12: The hotukdeals website in UK has a rewards program they specifically say these:
We will be sending out £10 vouchers each day to the users who have posted the most popular deals in our main categories - so if you receive a PM from a staff member, congratulations (and it is not spam!)

                • @Scrooge McDeal: yep makes sense. its why youtube pays their content creaters so much for good videos. they are the product.

same thing with ozbargain. hope they realise before its too late.

    • +3

That one guy who got 3 of those Dell curved monitors still living in my head rent free.

      • Do you want his address? Then maybe you can live at his house rent free as compensation / therapy.

  • -1

    Damn it, late again!
Any OZbargainer able to grab it from Bunnings?

    • +2

Any OZbargainer able to grab it from Bunnings?

      Read

    • +2

It is a third party seller. Bunnings doesn't keep their stock physically, especially 250KG massage chairs.

  • The reason "out of stock" is BS because I bought one a couple of hours before it was posted on ozbargain and mine still got cancelled.

I didn't think it would be worth posting on ozbargain since it was a 3rd party marketplace seller and there would be little chance of getting a voucher if it was cancelled.

    • Yes, obviously.

  • +1

    Call Muzeeb…call Muzeeb!

  • +1

People need better hobbies rather than go try cash in on known and blatant pricing errors. Energy spent better looking for legitimate bargains 🤷‍♂️

    • +2

You underestimate the people here. But you havent been here long enough so we understand.

      • -2

I'm not sure if this is something to be proud of?

        • +1

Just calling it as i see it.

We do have moments here where members are called out why we can't have nice things. Like that dipstick who thought it was his given right to use the park cooker as his personal stove where he cooks his meals on the daily. Heat up his water for his bath.

You know the usual ghetto / bogan way of living.

    • People need to not worry how others spend their time.

We're on OzBargain, price errors are part of the curriculum.

      • Yes, people are welcome to waste their time in the most useless way possible. Whose judging, right? 🤦‍♂️
What I find silly here is how people upvoted a pointless deal which really isn't a deal …

        • Well we know you're unnecessarily judgemental, that's for sure.

Again. Why are you so hung up on how people spend their time on here?

Energy better spent elsewhere if you ask you.

          • @Frayin: Same reason why you're spending the time and energy to reply back to my comment 🤷‍♂️

  • Cancelled, credited back to Mastercard.
