The pictures appear to be wireless..maybe it's a USB dongle?

    Says so right below:

    Plug-and-go nano transceiver

  • Silly question but the wireless dongle, would it interfere with a Logitech dongle in the next room?

    • I've have issues with 2 wireless dongles, both logitech on my pc. I have to put one on a short USB extension cable otherwise it'll drop in and out if their both on the back of the board.

I doubt another room will matter, especially on a different brand.

    • It should not interfere

    Microsoft Wireless Desktop 900

What kind of name is this for a keyboard?

Are these better in your eyes?

      Datamancer Seafarer
      iKey DT-5K-FSR-IS
      Optimus Popularis
      Datamancer Sojourner

It's an obvious one for me, it's a package of both. Makes sense. Not just a keyboard.

      • Datamancer is so cool

  • pretty bad reviews at officeworks for this

  • Anyone with this setup, can you comment if this is a full size mouse or a small one? Thanks

      Full size.

      • Legend. Bought

Pretty sure this doesn't have a Caps Lock indicator on the keyboard?

    • Correct.

    • a semi-solution is a visual or audio caps lock indicator notification on Windows.

  • Shitty keyboard and mouse for everyday use, but I purchased it anyways as it's the cheapest wireless combo set I've seen. Perfect for spare PC/server use. I have a bunch of wired keyboards and mice for this, but it's nice to just plug in a dongle and go wireless.

I am late to the party on this deal - but just an FYI for something I learned this week.

If you lose or break a Microsoft Wireless dongle, you cannot get a new dongle and pair it to the keyboard.

The receiver and keyboard/mouse have their frequency set during manufacturing and that is it - break/lose your dongle and the only option is to buy a new keyboard/mouse.

This is obviously different to the "Unified Receiver" that Logitech run.

I don't think people should support such an ewaste intensive situation - but that is just my 2c.
