[eBay Plus] OXO Good Grips Trigger Ice-Cream Scoop $10 Delivered @ Peters of Kensington eBay

320

OXO Good Grips Trigger Ice-Cream Scoop.

The reviews on eBay are not so good (2 reviews only) , on Amazon however it has good reviews overall. Mine just turned up and I just tested it and it is sturdy enough for me. was concerned may break it but the edges are sharp and easily scoops so I thought to post it in case anyone needs one.

I could apply PLUSJAN1 to my ordered making it $9.50 but it appears it is no longer working on less than $15 orders.

Same price + Delivery on Peter's of Kensington website
$21+ elsewhere.

Save yourself the potential breakages and get yourself something like this

If its too much, there are plenty of copies that work as well

    Avanti

    Vinyran non stick

Just make sure you dont put these in the dishwasher or youll have to use some elbow grease and aluminium polish to get the tarnish off.

    Handwash only.

Ive had 2 zyliss scoops crumble around the plastic edge and the metal comes off in the base of the scoop never been in dishwasher or used much utter garbage product.

I stand corrected, take spock's advice, dont buy it.

        • Mines been going strong for two years but it's an older model, maybe they changed plastic?

          • +1

@bdl: It may vary depending on how often you use it and if it gets put in the dishwasher, but among the ones I have seen that are well used, the coating on the metal does seem to come off.

After using zeroll ones, I definitely recommend one piece aluminium construction ones.

Prior to buying a zeroll, we used to have a stainless steel one…until the head snapped off.

  • A scoop is a scoop is a scoop

    • But which one best

      • +1

        Zeroll hands down best

      • +1
