  • Huge

  • Is it limited to 1 transaction per account?

    • Nope. Just make sure you click through each time you place a new order :)

  • -1

Somewhere other than first choice please. All the first choice stores in wa are in the middle of nowhere

    • +1

Agree. At first i got excited, wasted 30 mins to choose the drink, then checkout and sad…. clo@e the browser.

      How about delivery fee?

      • If using westpac bonus and spending 150 for free shipping it only goes $1.27 over the westpac cap to get the free shipping.

    • Not in Sydney.
Lots of good locations I drive past regularly.

  • +1

    MASSIVE cachback! well played westpac.

Spend $220, get $70 back is pretty epic.

    • $133.33 is the limit for the bonus cashback. You should get $26.66 + $20 bonus = $46.66. if multiple transactions are allowed then you're better off keeping transactions under this amount, not accounting for shipping.

Hard to tell if multiple transactions are allowed though, and if the bonus can be used multiple times as well.

      • Not sure I follow. $70 cap with both cash backs. Spend $220 less gst is $200. 35% of $200 is $70

        • +1

220 would get 60 cash back, do two seperate calculations, 220 less gst at 20% and 220 less gst at 15%(capped at at 20)

          • @HopSkipJumpFallSplat: ah gotcha.

            $200 @ 20% standard cashback - $40

            $200 @ 15% bonus cashback - $30 (cap $20)

            $60 total.

            needed my coffee…

its a bit of a silly cap then, cant maximise it when combining the two cashbacks.

        • Yeah it's what Corcivillius said. You hit the cap for the bonus at $133.33 excl. GST, so above that is slightly worse value as you're getting less than 35% cashback.

        • Barney’s calculation is correct. The bonus cashback tracks with the upsize 20% cashback and it’s not in addition that’s added onto the order total

The upsize 20% would track first, followed by the Westpac bonus

      • +1

Multiple transactions are allowed unless it’s specified it’s capped per member

All of ShopBack upsizes are usually capped per transaction, rarely we see that it’s capped per member

    • would have been more epic with bonus Flybuys points at the same time….

      • Yep, or a discount code at least. Didn't have either last time too so pulled the trigger this time.

  • +1

35% cash back is the kind of deal I can get behind. Beers ordered!

  • How do you claim the Westpac portion?

    • Once your regular cashback gets tracked, the Westpac bonus will be automatically calculated as a separate transaction line

      • +1

Thanks. Do you need a westpac account to be eligible?

        • Not for the 20% cashback. For the 15% bonus cashback, you’d need to pay and use your Westpac card at the FCL checkout

The list of eligible Westpac cards can be found here

  • So this deal is valid for 13 days??? That's wicked if true.

    • I’m not too sure where you got the 13 days from. Both of the upsize on this deal will end today at midnight AEDT

      • +2

It does say "Expires in 13 days" on the FCL SB page, but like last time that won't actually mean the 20% upsized cashback runs for 13 days, it's for today only. @killabob

Good to see Shopback only looking after Westpac customers 🤟👍😶

    • I'm just looking at getting a Westpac Choice debit card, it says "account keeping fees may apply" - can anyone elaborate? https://www.westpac.com.au/personal-banking/bank-accounts/tr…

      • +2

Do it, then they'll stop the bonus cashbacks.

That's the whole idea, but personally I think they piss alot more people off than look after their customers doing business like this.

        • +1

I just had a closer look and the account is $5 per month so I'll give it a miss anyway.

          • +1

@DoctorArd: The $5 account fee is waived if

            • Customers that deposit at least $2,000 each month
            • Customer under the age of 30 or full-time tertiary students
            • Australian Pensioner Concession or Health Care Card holders
            • New to Australia or expatriate customers (for the first 12 months).
    • Westpac are paying shopback $30M for this. It's just a simple advertising tool for westpac.

      • -3

I reckon it pissed more people off, than does good.

        • I'm sure Westpac are enjoying the new customers though.

          • @Skramit: Depends on the type of customer, they offered $50 to new customers a few years back, ooened accnt, got 50, closed accnt, opened accnt for shopback promo, when it ends will close accnt.. they aren't getting the monthly accnt fee from me either.

            • +1

@HopSkipJumpFallSplat: Not everyone is an ozbargainer like us. Many would forget they even have the account open and the cop Westpac email spam for years etc etc.

  • what are the chances of a free shipping code?

  • Do I have to go through a Westpac link on ShopBack? Or is it the usual fcl link and pay with Westpac card?

  • Is the cashbak only on the 53 products on the landing page?

    • No, only Penfolds and Dom Perignon are excluded.

  • 2 x Croser NV
1 x Jacobs Creek Reserve Sparking
1 x Jacobs Creek Reserve Prosecco

Under $11/bottle on average with Westpac bonus

    Damn.

  • Is it only 1 transactions/ account? If i have reached the cap.
And reorder will it still apply the cashback and westpac?

    • -1

I’ve already answered the question above

  • +1

Ok thanks… Just did another order hopefully it will get tracked

  • +1

Only needed to buy one item for $59 but both the standard and Westpac cashbacks have tracked for me already. Took about 70min from completing transaction to getting the SB notification. $18.78 back in my pocket is very tidy.

    Thanks OP!

  • Done 2 separate orders and both tracked with the westpac bonus.

  • +1

Thank Op, got two bottle of Tamnavulin down to $37.70 each with the 35% off
