90 Day Free Trial (Payment Info Required, New Customers Only) @ Peleton (via UK - No VPN Needed)

PELOTONPRIORITY

Currently in the UK (as some of you know) and for internet, I've been using the O2 network, anyway as a part of this they have their own rewards program (similar to Telstra). Currently, they are offering customers a free 90-day trail at Peleton.

Long story short it works regardless of being a customer or not as proven on HUKD.

Here are the steps to redeem/claim (yes, I have tested this out using an Australian VPN before posting).

Step 1: Press on the main deal link or this link here. You should appear on this page here.

Step 2: Ensure you press the "X" button and do not set your location to Australia.

Step 3: Enter your email (ensure it's a new one, as current or previous emails won't work, you can use the [email protected] method), and select next. After doing so, enter the promo code - PELOTONPRIORITY same as listed above in the checkout screen like this then finish filling out the rest of the fields (if you need to use a post code just use this one BS2 51BL ), check the T's & C's and select "Start Your Membership".

Step 4: Ensure you cancel in 90 days so that the subscription doesn't reoccur and you get charged.

Enjoy!

Hope it all works, like I said I have tested it twice and it was successful both times. Just remember to enter the promo code and you are good to go.
And a reminder that you have to cancel it, see below for instructions:

To cancel your Peloton App Membership if you've subscribed through the web, please follow these steps:

Enjoy!

  • Do you need a peleton or can you use any exercise bike?

    • +1

They have a number of classes that don’t require a bike.

    • You can use any bike. It just plays the video.

    • +1

You can use a regular bike but it would be good to get the smart wheel monitors like a Wahoo Cadence.
Also the other problem with using a Normal Bike and not a Peloton is its hard to measure when you need to increase the resistance.

With a Peloton you are pretty much 1:1 what the instructor says, with your own when they say up the resistance, so you adjust the knob on your manual bike to make the wheel abit more tighter your just guessing how far they have gone.
Also the Peloton bike being connected to there App also tracks all the data within the App speed/resistance/rpm so you know if you are in the range or under, Doing it manually your just following somebody on screen.

Its never going to be perfect and tbh you may aswell just watch a spin class youtube video and just wing it.

I just calculated the cadence manually by comparing the distance and peddle spins. Then I wrote out a list that’s stuck on the bike that lets me quickly convert from cadence to km/h.

No solution for resistance. I just do the best I can.

  • Can you connect a power meter etc, like you do with Zwift etc?🤷🏼‍♂️

Every time is hear or see the word Peleton, it reminds me of this family guy episode.

  • Oh lol Peloton! How 2020. Hope everyone sold out early enough last year..

  • I thought they are going broke?

    • Their share holders if they bought in at the start, definitely at their peak, and have decided to HODL are going broke that's for sure. The company has perpetually been propped up by investors looking to cash in on the next tech disrupter (those who bought in early and cashed out high made off like bandits for sure).

The company itself is an absolute shocker performance wise. Even while they were riding a wave of success during COVID in 2021 made substantial net losses.

      FY21 $4b Rev, $180m net loss
      FY20 $1.8b Rev, $71.6m net loss
      FY19 $915m Rev, $195.6m net loss
      FY18 $435m Rev, $47.9m net loss
      FY17 $219m Rev, $163.4m net loss

You can always read the more up to date info from their horror show here: https://investor.onepeloton.com/financial-information/quarte…. Their share price is complete dogsh*t. But I suppose this is a bargain post, not an investor post :)

  • thanks a lot. i signed up today and it worked.
