      Yep, that'll work for eBay and Amazon only, other merchants have their own terms but gift cards are fine to stack with eBay + regular Cashback + Bonus Cashback via Westpac Lounge.

        And only the $20 ebay tracked. Westpac bonus didn’t track?

          I bought something yesterday and paid 100% by Westpac card and the 8% has tracked but the Westpac bonus hasn't yet. Strange as on other things the westpac has been instant but looks like this time it may take a while.

      Fun fact about technology:
      sometimes things go wrong.

      There is a form to fill out if the tracking failed. Happened to me with a $30 cash back and they investigated + fixed the untracked cashback.

          Generally you need to wait a week until you can report missing Cashback.

      Correct, Bonus will apply with code usage stacked with the 2.5% Cashback, and the Caps are separate so you could get a total $40 Cashback per transaction.

Note that coupon code use outside of these stackable promo periods can also result in the Cashback tracking at $0. As for the categories and rates, these are set by eBay, not ShopBack, and can change from time to time so always best to take a look before purchasing.

      From the above, my interpretation is that you need to use the same Westpac card at eBay checkout. Also OP has clarified about partial gift card payment.

      I believe GYB posted somewhere stating that using BNPL payment platform where the final payment used is unclear, will not be eligible. To be safe it’s better to pay direct to your Westpac card.
      Partial payment with eBay GC is another good way to stack up the savings

      Yeah nah unfortunately, Paypal, Afterpay and other online payment services won't be deemed eligible, I'm afraid. From the Westpac Lounge T's and C's:

      Purchases made using online payment methods such as PayPal, where ShopBack is not able to identify whether an eligible card was used at the merchant checkout, will not qualify for Westpac bonus Cashback (even where an eligible card is linked e.g. to the PayPal account).

    I have an item I added to watchlist months ago, so do I need to remove from Watchlist, manually search the item and then add to cart to ensure cashback?

      That's correct mate, just a quirk of the back-end tracking for eBay so best to remove and search to avoid it possibly interrupting your tracking.

      I always click on the item first (adds it to my "recent viewed" history), then remove it from my watchlist before going to Shopback. Then go through Shopback, click on the item from recently viewed, add it to cart, and continue from there.

    Ebay buyers can offer a discount for purchasing multiple items and the discount is applied automatically during check out. In the Order summary it actually shows the the full amount with an additional "Item Discount" line item….I hope this type of purchase qualifies for the 8% "without Coupon Codes" cashback

    I want to get in on these offers but I'm falling at every hurdle, no thanks to Westpac. I figured the Flex credit card would be perfect for this, but the online application process keeps timing out on the step after it asks me to set up my password. Three different machines (one being my phone), three different browsers, all the same result.

    Okay fine, the email they sent me says that if I have any issues, I can call up 8:30 to 18:30, 7 days a week. So I do that, only for them to inform me that actually, they're only open Monday to Friday, and only until 17:30.

    Hopeless.

    I am new to shopback. Previous chemist warehouse westpac transaction bonus got tracked immediately but not this eBay offer. Was wondering if the shopback system treated different merchant differently. There are no incentive to use these cashback offer if I have to track each transactions !!!

I had to lodge an online request through SB about the missing westpac bonus and they manually did the $15 Myers/Westpac cashback and now it's tracking. Took less than 24 hours. Hopefully this helps for the people that are experiencing issues.

        I try to raise a ticket on this and the shopback system said it will take time to track 'sometime' and I cant raise ticket until 28Jan2023 for the transaction made on 21Jan2023. So I might do that after 28Jan2023 and see how it goes. Just one more thing to do in my calendar.

    Different situation, my up sizes Cashback tracked the right amount but my bonus Cashback tracked the a strange value, no where near 10% of the purchase value.
