Can't comment on the quality but seems a good price for a table top to be paired with a (sit stand) frame. "Rounded corners and smooth edges" are also nice to have :) Thickness 2.5 cm.

Made of particle board so would be just laminate top as doubt would be veneer. Probably nothing great.

    • Will drilling it cause the board to disintegrate?

nah its usually fine. just dont cut to resize the board as the nice outer layer obviously dont all the way through and you'll be able to see the cheap inner wood

        • Also beware of breathing hazards

Quality will be pretty bad considering it's just melamine.

    • I had the Ikea desk (bekant) which is melamine, while i do agree it's probably not the best - the melamine desk held up quite well despite daily use for up to the last 4yrs - no weird issues on it thus far - it is much softer though (IE: my monitor arm with a heavy monitor dug into the table where the mount sits).

Currently using another melamine table top (which is double the thickness of my bekant) and its MUCH more solid. Will never beat solid wood but good if you're on a budget.

I suspect given the price of this top - it'll likely fall closer to the Ikea melamine in terms of longevity and durability (or maybe a tad worse) so don't put too much pressure and weight on it.

  • Bought the electric standing desks from them and it’s so good!!!! Used my own desk top though.

  • Anyone have one of these and can provide pictures? The colours look a little different to other oak and walnut desks on eBay.

Probably better off getting something like this, at least it's solid wood and isn't much more expensive.

    eg 120 x 60 https://www.bunnings.com.au/specrite-1200-x-600mm-18mm-timbe…

    • 120*60 is hardly enough space for a keyboard mouse and monitor.

  • Thanks OP, standing desk frame was also great value. Ordered 140*70 table top + frame, $288.59 delivered!

  • Anyone has their order shipped yet? Lol
