  • It's a refurb

    • How do you know that? I couldn’t find anything but only looked at it briefly

    • Nah, ctrl+f typed in "refurb" no result!

Will it drive my car, do my shopping and pick up chicks and bring them home for me?

I've cycled through a few watches and still wear this one as my go-to for active days.. (Currently switched from apple watch series 6 to Samsung watch5 pro as my daily driver). Battery life has been great and hasn't had an issue over the last few years. (Note this watch is superseded by the Fenix 7 released Jan 22)

Things built like a tank, done some rock climbing and some bush hiking and have smashed it against various rock faces. sapphire screen is spotless, the titanium coated bezel has some nicks where ive really abused it but still looks out of the box otherwise.

The only significant wear and tear on the watch is the band, not as shiny as it used to be, but its unfortunately hasn't fallen apart to warrant a band replacement.

Thing still surprises me, found out about a feature called 'storm alerts' which after some tweaking has been useful in giving me a heads up before an approaching storm hits. https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=9FkGWxJqWn8efpLR5mJywA

Some features i love that you cant get in other watches is the HRV status, Body battery (Been very accurate for me) and stress stats.

I don't recommend this watch if you looking for a 'smart watch' in the sense of taking calls/media control/emails/taking phone calls etc. If you're looking for a new watch (Fenix 7). I'd recommend if you want to join the Fenix club but budget conscious, this is a watch that can last you a few years.
