When buying a vegetable peeler, some important factors to consider include:

Blade quality: Look for a peeler with a sharp, durable blade that will last a long time and make peeling easier.

Handle design: A comfortable, non-slip handle is important for safety and ease of use.

Type of peeler: There are different types of peelers available, such as Y-peelers, swivel peelers, and serrated peelers. Consider which type will work best for the fruits and vegetables you typically peel.

Ease of cleaning: Look for a peeler that is easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

Brand reputation: Consider the reputation of the brand and read reviews from other customers to get an idea of the peeler's performance and durability.

Price: Look for a peeler that offers a good balance between performance, durability and price.

Size and weight: Consider the size and weight of the peeler, making sure it is comfortable for you to hold and use for extended periods of time.

A vegetable peeler is a kitchen tool used to remove the outer skin or peel from fruits and vegetables. It typically has a sharp blade that is used to scrape off the skin, leaving the edible portion of the food intact. It can be used to peel a variety of fruits and vegetables, including potatoes, apples, carrots, cucumbers, and zucchini.

    • I am still using this style of zyliss peeler as a hand me down from my mum. I think its about 20-25 years old now, I have tried buying new peelers but none of them work as good as this one. Highly recommend this brand

  • Nice if you don’t have any. I have enough in the kitchen going strong since years.
