I don't even own a kayak and I'm tempted lmao

It's Amazon. Buy first return later :)

    That’s a paddlin’

I find them to be a bit too flimsy if I'm trying to paddle quickly.

    • I have this exact paddle, as it came with an Intex kayak I purchased recently, and it's quite sturdy (no flex at all while paddling).

      • Same place I got mine from. It's alright if you are going slow or not paddling very hard. It's useless if you are really going for it or try to slow yourself/turn sharply at speed.

I was up the creek… Now I’m OK

Pheeewwww… lucky its outdoor , have enough indoor kayak paddles already

    • Sheesh like minds

      • +5

I came here to make the same dad joke, lucky I did a text search.

  • +6

Do they also make indoor kayak paddles?

    • +1

      i wondered that too

    • My wife hates it when I paddle inside. She never wants to sleep on the wet spot.

Not suitable for RAV4 owners unfortunately

    • Should've bought a Jeep

  • +2

    Cheers I actually needed one!

  • These are terrible. I have owned them in the past and they are really flimsy and flexy.

Unless space is really at a premium get a decent non collapsible paddle

This is super handy, me and some friends got the $20 kmart rafts and all the paddles broke. Boats still work fine but this will give them a couple more uses.

  • Cheers OP, needed to replace the kids ones

  • Thanks op. Got a pair of 54 inch oars to go with this

    • should have gotten that missed it, now can only get it for $200

  • I once got caught in a bit of a current with one of these on one of the kayaks they come with. While there is no frigging way I would willingly chose these again, they actually survived. I really like the shape of the paddle too. Very nice. Even considered sourcing a more solid one piece of aluminum to put them into.
I have both the kinds decathlon sell the aluminum two piece and the carbon fiber two piece and would recommend those on anything but calm and predictable conditions :D

    • +2

You wouldn't recommend them for calm and predictable conditions?

      • +1

        Ugh. Rambling is hard.
I wouldn't recommend the intex paddles on anything other than calm and predictable conditions.

Posting a bargain and not including the retail price?

    That's a paddlin'

Posting a bargain of a paddle?

..Oh you better believe that's a paddlin'

  • How does this compare say with the ones included in the K2?

    • Based on luck they should be exactly the same.

Can be resold in the trading post as jousting sticks for at least $250. Ask $450 though.

      Dreamin'

  • Although they call them "spoon shaped" they're not what would usually be called spoon blades, these are much flatter. At that price, I've bought 4 of them. Even if they're crappy, they're handy backups for multi-day kayak trips on gentler rivers.

  • These look flimsy as hell. I’m actually in the market for some kayak equipment but no way I’m touching this.

    • +1

No one cares what you want to touch.

  • Should be targeted, for those people that live in shitcrek

    expired, now $31.09

86 inches of ribbed, strong shafts for maximum performance. Only 3 positions though?

    • I was scrolling through and saw this post "Ribbed for maximum…"

I thought pleasure would come next

      • I'm sure this kayak offers plenty of pleasurable outdoor experiences.
