These wallet prices are getting out of hand. Love my $10 Jeff Banks wallet from TK MAXX though.
This is probably a little different, as it's a bit larger than your average wallet and designed to carry your passport, tickets, etc while travelling, even has a tiny pen to fill out arrival cards.
I got one (non-Qantas version) just prior to covid arriving, haven't taken it anywhere yet but it seems like its good quality.
I use one of those Ridge style wallets, wonder if this Qantas one will be good for travel though
I've found the Bellroy Travel wallets great for flying international. If I ever lost mine I would replace it immediately.
Fair enough, especially if you're frequent traveller. I'm still reluctant to spend over $100 on a wallet though, that I'm going to use once in 2 years. I trust my cargo shorts more than any wallet while travelling Lol ;).
I have this wallet. It's pretty nice. One minor annoyance is that the mini-pen in it always gets picked up by security.

My experience has been different (not saying you are wrong or anything though), I flew internationally a few times last year from Sydney airport and it has never been a problem here or flying back. I've probably had the wallet for about 5 years.
I have the tan colour and it’s ageing beautifully. Outs just such a good size you carry while at airport queues compared to the chunky folio type passport holder I used before
