To help tackle household food waste and get the nation into the swing of using up food (and not wasting it), OzHarvest has developed a world first product – the Use It Up tape. This nifty product can be used in your fridge, freezer, or pantry to mark out an area where to place food that needs using up, or as stickers on individual items or containers.

The tape will be free of charge for a limited time only, but we do need to add a small amount for postage (Australia only), just $4.00 – the same as your morning coffee. The tape is available one per person, while stocks last.

  Nothing is free if you have to pay. You also could just use any stickers or make them yourself.

  $4 is more than reasonable for postage costs. Though, realistically this is an effort to get donations. This narrowly meets the criteria for a bargain, IMO.

  I like the concept and during the pandemic I did see busy Ozharvest sites.

  Picked one up and donated a small amount.

  Meh, if you're going to be doing it anyway a sticker saying "use me" isn't anywhere near as useful as putting a date.

  "World first product" doesn't mean no one has thought of this, it's just better alternatives already exist.

  My family has this weird trick where, if it's in the fridge, you should eat it and not throw it out.

  As an adult with a functioning brain and who decides what my family eats, my wife somehow manages to use things before they expire without tape.
