I just finished Moonlighter on the switch. I felt it had good potential . Such a short played game and scales too easy from mid game to end. Last boss was actually the easiest lol

How did you feel about the unkillable ghost enemy that spawns if you take too long on a run? Felt super unnecessary to me, like I'm being punished for trying to explore everything

      • That was annoying as. Has there been any updates on the contents? I played it in 2021 or so, felt it was too short to start feeling repetitive. If they could merge Moonlighter with Wild at Heart, that would be perfect.

Not sure, once I got one hit killed versing a boss a few times because of the ghost enemy, I ended up putting it down and finding something else to play.

      • I have no idea how but I managed to kill it once or glitched it and it never came back.

I legitimately had no idea it was time gated, I just assumed it was random or due to getting the "nether" weapons.

It's super frustrating when you are already low on health on a tier 2 boss and that Muppet is chasing you around vomiting on things.

Blazing Beaks is a decent game, let down slightly by odd controls of the character

  • I just came to say it is a really good game, even though I never finished it.

For those keen to play Moonlighter, it is free to play if you have Netflix.

I was a bit burnt by positive press around Moonlighter… It doesn't really do either of its elements particularly well, especially the shop/selling loot

Played the main game, had no interest in the DLC
