Not sure this qualifies as a deal?
And I feel like everyone knows by now that you can subscribe for just one month to play / try a game?

I agree not a bargain. Look at xbox game pass, it's cheaper and offers way more games.

EA Play which is included with Gamepass does not have Dead Space remake. That's only included in EA Pro isn't it?

That is what OP is actually highlighting as the "deal" here from the looks of it to be fair.

EA has got to be the worst company, never do anything to support them.

    • I'd wait a bit for this one to come down to $60 as I'd love to see the whole Dead Space series being remade and hopefully we could get the third game like what it was intended to be and not a Gears of War ripoff.

  • I'd argue that EA Launcher is some of the worst lauchers on PC so they don't deserve to have my money for their subscription service. But to each his own.

Yep, once installed an EA script starts with Windows, probably hidden in scheduler.

      BS, no good reason.

      • I'm still salty about EA stubbornly not integrating their games back into Steam and cause some stability issues back then on the Steam Deck. Showed how far they'd go for that lucrative profits over (profanity) gamers.

      • Is that only the newer app? I still have Origin cause some EA Steam games require it to launch.

      • Yep, once installed an EA script starts with Windows, probably hidden in scheduler.

Click the three lines in top left of EA launcher (hamburger menu)
        Click Settings
        Click Application

untick Application Updates & open automatically on startup

  • Wait, there's an EA Play and now an EA Play PRO? which one is included with Game Pass?

    • +3

EA Play only. Their Pro service is for PC only.

      • Oh i see, thanks

  • Can this be played via GeforceNow?

I'll give you my honest thoughts about the game here because no one's talking about it here.

This remake succeeds the original 2008 release of Dead Space. It's more then just a remake, it's a reimagining. Many things were completely overhauled, not comparable to the overhaul that occured for halo 2 anniversary which was graphics and audio. There are whole portions of the map reformatted, extra lines of dialogue which further immerse you in the world of Dead Space. I don't usually support EA, but I would still give this a shot it's worth it

Just buy the game really if you really wanted to support this franchise.

      • I love the franchise

I'm still too scared to play it after 10 years. Might just watch other people play it on youtube lol.

    Great idea! Thanks 👍

This is how I have been playhing the game since launch on PC… Loving the remake so far! It will end up on regular EA Play later on for me to give it a replay after this month is done!

    • New release games are on EA Play Pro and then after 1yr transition over to EA Play plebian tier which is included with XBOX Game Pass.
