It appears Kmart is transitioning away from "Trackmaster" branded Thomas & Friends train sets to "Fisher Price" branded sets

The tracks I believe are compatible between both brands.

This puppy was $29 normal price, and has been replaced by a Fisher Price branded version @ $39

It is on clearance and is an instore item only.

Kmart's web site has stock availability but it is pretty flakey IMHO.
I don't know of a web site that shows all stores with stock but one of the geniuses here has probably made one - if there is such a thing please put a link in the comments as it would be super helpful.

60+ pieces. Assembling it in the pictured configuration will test your patience and engineering skills, but you can make simpler tracks.

    I have low stock showing at Salamander Bay NSW and Kotara NSW which are two of my closest stores.

    Also low stock at Hornsby NSW and Castle Hill NSW.

    Thats 4 stores supposedly having stock in just two searches. I would say that low stock can sometimes mean no stock - Kmart's stock system isn't something I would be my life on.

    Do you have a nationwide stock checking site you are referring to?

  Got this at $29 a while ago, bloody good deal imo, son had hours of fun.

    Agree @ $29 it was still excellent value. It seems inflation is rampant with toys as well, as it's replacement is $39…

    Same here. We bought this just after NY at this price. Kids have had heaps of fun with it.

  Found there to be 8 at Chirnside Park store, also they ARE branded as fisher-price but still scan at $25.

    Word of warning, new Thomas engines are too tall to fit under the overhead and tunnel areas.
