CellarOne are offering a 3 pack of Shiraz's for $75, consisting of:

If you like your bold Barossa reds, this is a great deal. The Blackwell and Fillsell usually average around the $45 mark in most bottle shops, and the Butchers Cart is around $20-$25. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

Both the Blackwell and Fillsell are corked, so if you are looking at longer-term cellaring this is also ideal.

$50 without the butcher's would be good

    • Would be absolutely cheap as chips then. Butcher's isn't too bad imo, but the Blackwell and Fillsell are another level.

The fact that sone have cork enclosures does not mean they are any better for cellaring. Probably made for chinese market, who like cork. Stelvin is a better enclosure.

Highly likely to be right re China stock.
Generally wine under cork will age more quickly than the same wine under stelvin. Stelvin provides less bottle variation and consistency.

A 2016 Old Block Shiraz in the pack would be perfect! Lol

    • Don't us all vino drinkers wish! haha

If you dont mind buying by the dozen, i find that the Reynella basket pressed shiraz is much better and a very similar cost per bottle

That is a lovely drop. 2017 available in a half dozen pack. Just ordered using some cellar points I had.

        Good spot!

The Reynella is probably my go to wine at the moment. Well priced and an excellent wine.

        • thanks - i just picked up a half dozen to try

@setekh: Nice-you won't regret it! I think the Reynella is even a solid buy at RRP, which is about $60.

Actually bought this last night, they sent me a free $20 code…so cost me $55

    • How did you get the code?

      • +1

Probably because I hadn't no that for ages.

They just sent me one, sometimes these websites do it once or twice a year.

  • Solid deal, if I didn't have so much of both the better bottles already I'd buy some!

  • I also had a $20 discount in my spam. Bought this, and delivered very quickly. The Blackwell is seriously good - never had it before. I've been a fan of the Filsell for a while when on similar specials.
