  If you buy a device from Amazon Au, how is the warranty dealing process? I always buy a device from Samsung and thought might try to buy from Amazon Au one day.

    Same Samsung warranty as you get anywhere else, as long as you buy an Australian model. We had an S20 that had the touch screen fail just inside 2 years. We took it to the Samsung store and they happily replaced the screen and battery

    Agreed, via the Samsung online store while you don't get the gift voucher, you get the $250 eshop voucher, which if you ignore that, you still get extra colour choices, free samsung care+ (BONUSCARE).

  Be careful with Samsung, especially with their service (Samsung Store on George st., Sydney). I've got a screen failure on my 8 months old s21+, went to the store and after 2 days of diagnostic, they said that the phone is… rooted (huh?) and quoted me $500 for screen replacement (they confirmed the defect with the screen). The thing is that the phone wasn't rooted! And I couldn't prove it because the screen is not working. They didn't listen that it wasn't rooted and advised me to open an investigation if I'm not happy which will take 2+ weeks or so. I didn't have time, contacted Amazon (where I bought the phone) and they sent me a new phone with no problem which I received the next day. But a lesson learned - no more Samsung phones or other Samsung devices (was Samsung customer since 2017).
