Looks like they are getting tight on the giftcard at 1150 instead of the usual 1200, or discounting the $99 plan down to $89. Wonder if worth waiting for better telstra offer. But then lose the bonus storage offer. Although if get the $250 gift card for preorder, then extra $300 off with trade in, then get the 1150 for 24 month planm, thats $1700 in credit, before the trade-in value of handset. If trading in ultra s22 which would get over $500 for sure then I would be in the positive with JB credit right? Or am I adding something wrong? Has anyone tried the trade-in, used the promotional credit voucher to reduce the price BUT not use the trade in gift card and then not return the device?

Hey guys did anyone get an error message when trying to trade in phone i got (Authorization failed. Please check that you have sufficient funds in your account and try again.).

trade in code seems to work on the pulbic store but not the education/ government stores.

Got any ideas?

  I got this message while choosing to trade in before selecting what phone I want. Instead I then chose to add the trade in code while in the cart and that worked.

      Actually if you need a plan, TGG is better than JB or Sammy. Shame TGG doesn't also have a trade in bonus. But then again, normally 400 turns into 750, thats $350 which is more than what JB is offering ($300) as a trade in bonus. Then you can sell the old phone for more $ than what JB would have given you

  That's how I am reading it also. It seems almost too good! basically $900 for an 2 year upgrade isn't bad….My S21 Ultra is getting close to new battery time and unfortunately I would have to do that through Samsung…..Device Care says the battery is still good…so not covered under warranty…but to me it feels like its draining faster.

    Mine is still going strong, so its a bit hard to justify right now, might see if i get another year out of it. Its been an excellent phone. Most phones I've had have felt like they were on the verge of giving up at the 2 year mark. 3 best phones I've had were the note 4, note 9 then this 21 ultra. All others haven't held up after a year.

  Last time you had a week or so. They delayed it for the pre-order. You get reminders. So you have a couple of days to migrate over.
  
  The only tip I have is if you have any authenticator apps they don't typically go over well, and you might find it so much easier to transfer those and test they work before sending back. Not every app can use authy.

Assuming a similar deal and outcome its a phone lease equivalent of ~$29 / month.

For comparison the S21+ (256gb) trade-in was $350. Yes, back then the 128gb would of been more likely.

    yh underwhelming without a doubt, I do want the new snapdragon gen 2 tho, I heard gen 1 got abit of a problem with throttles. Anything is better than exynos I reckon. I constantly question how they call my s21 a flagship device when it slows down so often and lags so much.

Can someone help me if my math is correct? I did a trade in quote check on JB website and my S22U 512gb value shows $900. Then there is 300 bonus trade in on top of this. Then there is extra 250 JB GC that can be used towards the phone, so a 512gb S22U should cost -

$1949-(900+300+250) = $499. Is this correct?
