That Seiko, it looks so elegant. But my bank account says otherwise.

    • IKTF…but will it ever be this cheap again?

Omg it looks so nice 😭😭😭

I know, and you are right. But these damn inflation turned me to a real Scrooge. Believe it or not 99% of the stuff that I post here, I don't even purchase. I just get the satisfaction of spending other people's money. Lol

  • If it was smaller I'd pull the trigger, difficult with all the complications and dials.

    Damn. Im getting divorced

Oh no! She didn't give you THE ultimatum… "it's me or the watch" like a fool.

  • That seiko looks amazing. Even nicer in real world pictures.

Was waiting for the Citizen listed above for quite sometime. Just picked it up. Inspite of picking up three others last night from the DJ sale ! I am in big trouble….

    • time waits for no man..
      good buying

  • The Seiko SRPD99J1 looks nice.
Price is decent. Probably won't get a Seiko with a sapphire crystal for much less.
For the money, I'd say the movement is fine but not outstanding.

    • Yeah that's a great looking watch..simple and elegant.

Why does it have to have such a goofy logo

    • +2

Seiko Premier logo has always been the same. Unless you're thinking the moon phase indicator is a part of it?

  • Ooh I didn't know Seiko was still making this calibre. I have the SRX001 version which I bought for similar coin back in about 2010.

    • +1

Moon-phases are pretty rare these days.

      • Damn. I really like the moon phase, but would not think of spending $600 even on a very nice watch. Any more affordable options?

        • The two Bulovas I listed above are nice and only cost the same as a good night out.

My service fee for omega cost more than this watch…..it just stupid cost just to keep it ticking

Finally, a deal with Sapphire crystal….. Have a plus.

  • SAD SRX017J is sold out :(

    • just tried and it says "Hurry, running low on stock", but no doubt they will all be gone very soon.

      edit: Now all snapped up!

        NO!!!!!!!!

Damn it's bloody nice. I saw similar to this looking around in Japan for around 120k JPY (~1350aud).

I was almost keen enough to buy but didn't pull the trigger as I was sceptical how it would look on my small/medium size wrist as I am normally a fitness tracker kind of person and haven't tried a wide range of dress watches before.

Now that it's OOS am kinda regretting not buying, but also relieved in a way… Still torn!

    I had a dog called Seiko…..

    He was a watch dog.
