    Duel monitors. Should I make a smart-a comment…………?

    Nah.

    • +4

idk I would've upvoted you if you did

  • +5

So which arm challenged for a Duel? will it be at High Noon?

  • +6

Your monitor vs mine, after school on Monday behind the toilet block at 3:05pm. To the death.

  • +4

    Mano(tor)-a-Mano(tor)

This would be good for playing Red Dead Redemption on.

  • A mate bought this and regret.
Can adjust height easily. Yes can, but not as easy as the gas spring type.

    • +6

You dont buy this type of arm if you want to move the monitor frequently though. For set and forget these work well and look quite neat.

      • Fully agree.. gas ones are a lot more hit and miss.
If you want it in one position, these are cheap and reliable, otherwise you need to spend a bit more on a decent gas one and eventually it will sag

    • Gas has a finite life! Hey they cost lots more!

  • +1

It's easier to just flush your money down the toilet if you really want to buy one of these.

Save yourself the disappointment and pay $20 something more for a North Bayou monitor arm that isn't a complete piece of sh*t.

    • Totally agree. But i bet a lot will still buy them.

    • Would something like that monitor arm work if mounted / clamped to one of those movable sit/stand desks? https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/matrix-sit…

      • I seriously doubt it. You'd have too much weight unevenly distributed on it so it'd likely be extremely unstable and your monitors would wobble a lot, maybe even cause the whole thing to tip over when you move them to certain positions.

Besides, even if you could reliably attach monitor arms to a desk riser, it'd be ergonomically terrible as you'd have a very limited choice of mounting positions and the range of movement would be limited.

Just get a quality sit-stand desk like the UpDown Desk, they're seriously worth the money and they'll last a long time.

Desk risers are by and large pretty rubbish.

        • I've been pretty happy with mine in all honesty, but I got the mount (I only need one monitor mounted) and see how it goes. If it fails. I'll consider an alternative as you say

      Help needed, toilet clogged

  • Which Burwood?

  • +2

Pretty good of you don't move. I use a combo of one of these (triple monitor) and one bayou on my left. I get annoyed if I see gaps between monitors and height adjustable desk with gas ain't good.

    • Completely agree as i have these and really good, also when the gas lift ones sag and fails its a just another headache…

  • Saw these at my local coles (nth bris) at same price

  • +1

i got one for $6.50 at my coles at skye in vic
was the last one or i woulda grabbed more

  • With the number 24 on the box, given the price and max load 18kg I am assuming this can do max 2x 24"?
Anyone have and can confirm it can hold 2x 27"? I have two dell s2721d that are reasonably heavy, around 8kg each..

    • +1

i have the same monitors and purchased a similar looking stand ~ aldi buahn dual monitor stand which has a suggested of load of up to 8kg per arm. Holding them fairly well and seems reasonably sturdy. This arm supports up to 32inch monitor sizes according to the product box.

    • yes, but knurl knob might be in way if desk has small overlap. They suggest drilling a 1cm hole!

  • nice

Saba - not bad gear. Good blazers. Never thought they would release monitor stands. Guess times are tough and yet, it kinda makes sense. Blazer/Suit and work/corp environment + a side of monitor arm. Not sure about selling through Coles and their 'smart buy' trolley specials. ha!

    Can't see this holding 2x 49" Sammy G9's though… :(

    • Not sure if you're serious but this is not the fashion brand.

This is Chinese industrial waste reassembled into another range of landfill-filler for Coles.

      • "Not sure if you're serious but this is not the fashion brand."

        Aaahhh… shiftyeyes… lol…

        • Yeah. It would be quite bizarre that SABA would be peddling cheap monitor arms at Coles.

I actually can't figure out the claimed national origin/ownership of this brand and whether it has any relation to a fairly prominent German-French electronics company also called Saba, but it's definitely got nothing to do with the Australia clothing label SABA.

          • @Gnostikos: aaahhhhahahahhah - it was a joke… lol

            • @mickyb80: I guess I should ditch this SABA brand sarcasm detector, the thing's useless.

          • @Gnostikos: I got Mickey’s joke, but I DO recall buying a cheap Thunderbolt external case branded Saba from Europe. It was utter crap.

  • Bummer, bought one at already reduced price of $24.95 . Shall I re buy and get the larger refund?

    • +1

      Do it, no balls
      .

  • Anyone seen this in SA at this price? Online says 44.95 for me

    • Dernacourt had one or 2 left yesterday morning but i think they were still $24.95. It will be managers discretion as to how fast they mark them down

  • +2

Dont ever do it. Any brand. Dual singles give you far more flexibility. I never found a dual srm that gave a side monitor enough reach to tilt to face you comfirtably, especially at 27 sizes etc

    • Make one arm not have the bend attachment. Perfect for a vertical mount.

  • Thanks OP for posting this.
I picked up one today at Coles St Clair SA amd there was 2 more left afound 1PM today.
