I last bought a 17" laptop from this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/100782, so I guess this is not bad.

    • It's a good comparison, but missing ssd for some reason..

  • No 3060 graphics, no deal

  • I don't like the thick bezels tbh. 17.3 is a big monitor anyway, so you want minimal bezels as much as possible to retain some portability imo.
    plus no usb c.

    • for some people portability is not daily anymore ….1-2 days per week in office is what we currently do, we hand out 14” at work from the days when people took laptop homes daily …..i think if we gave them options some would take the 17” option rather than also have the 24” monitor on the dining table and no where to put monitor later ….. depends how much portability you need and if you have space for a monitor on dining table.

      • most people here are home users. I have a 17inch I have to lug around and its not pleasant.

  • Again with the 8GB.

    I like it, it's a quirky 17"er

    Desktop replacement but core i3
Portable it's not in 17" and weight
10hr battery life?!?!? In 17" lol
    Probably the cheapest 17" too

  • This laptop is not a deal, though it looks so sleek and real,
With specs that seem to boast and shine,
It’s tempting to call it mine.

But closer inspection shows, it's not as it appears,
With shortcuts that slow and lag that’s near,
It’s not the powerhouse it’s made to be,
And so, this laptop is not a deal for me.

I need a device that’s fast and strong,
With a battery life that lasts all day long,
A keyboard that’s comfortable to type,
And a display that doesn't give me fright.

So, I’ll keep searching for the right fit,
A laptop that will make my work a hit,
And when I find it, I'll know it's true,
That it was a deal, meant just for me and you.
