JBL OnStage Micro II iPod Speaker Dock $39.00 Free Delivery or Instore Pickup @ JB Hi-Fi

80

According to JB's homepage it's a "CRAZY DEAL!" Instore the "before" price sticker was $99.

Pretty sure these work with iPhones. Sound OK for the size, so are great for travel or in small rooms.

Probably discounted pending release of the new dock connector but anyway, a cheap price for a decent brand and product.

  • Bargain for that price.
Probably good to take note that Apple is changing their connector.

  • Genius - They change connector than introduce a new dock soon.

You'd think that someone will release an adapter from old to new connector. There's a crapload of docks out there that people will still want to use, so there's be a market for them. But if it is true that there is a new connector for iPhone 5, the current docks will be sold off even much cheaper than now I guess.

  • This is interesting, perhaps we will see more of these sales due to connector size changing. Maybe this speaker dock and others will be for sale at the same or lower price when the iPhone 5 is released or announced.

Price looks good, but will hold off for a lower price.

  • I don't think it could drop any lower since this is a big jump already, from $99 to $39 there is no possibility that it could go lower, unless these will still be on sale when the iphone 5 is out. Yet again possible that they discontinue sale of this since this will require two products to change connector

  • It's an OK deal, but considering you can get a Logitech S315i which includes much better speakers and a rechargeable battery for $49 from LTS (or ~$46.50 pricematched from OW) or Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 which has even better battery/speakers for $79 delivered from LTS (or ~$75 if you get OW to pricematch)…

I mean, this is OK. If you want a small dock (desk space can be a serious issue) with speakers not a great deal better than the inbuilt phone one… it's good.

Otherwise maybe go with something from LTS.

  • I have had one of these for years. I paid over $100 for it and its still going strong. great sound for the size and even better now at that price

  • Good price. Anyone compared to Altec Lansing Octiv Mini (M102) @ $33 Officeworks, wonder if sound is any better.

    • Emma I highly recommend this I got a micro and an on stage and I am pretty happy with both.

  • won't work with iPhone 5… :(

  • I think it's an older model, but can't say I am drawn to the newer ones. Rather weird for my taste.

It's like they got a new designer - with a taste for LSD.

  • Guys apple has not confirmed that they will change the connector the last time a heard, right? Also how do you know you want the iphone 5 if you have not seen it yet nor no anything solid about it yet?

    • It was confirmed sometime last week from memory, they eventually filed the patent for the new connector so it is now a done deal.
