    Definately dual boiler - has two boilers obviously, but also a 58mm group head. This one comes with only pressurised baskets as well (very bad). The dual boiler doesnt have a grinder, so will cost significantly more though (i think worth it).

    I had the non maestro version of this, and after replacing baskets and stuff, got it making decent coffee, but i wouldnt recommend it. The dosing and lever tamping situation is a bit imprecise and a bit of a gimick. Recommend getting a separate grinder and espresso machine.

        Just no brand ebay job. Delonghi are a weird diameter, 51mm or something, so had to look specifically for that.

  These are absolute rubbish. Had one for 3 months and sold it after much back and forth with delonghi support confirming we were using it properly but it still made shit coffee. Breville has an exponentially higher ceiling for coffee quality at this price point.

  It's more of a show pony to look nice (subjective) on the bench top.

  Even though you can swap out the pressurised basket for a regular basket, the integrated grinder is ineffective to grind freshly roasted beans. Because it is tuned to grind just fine enough for the included pressurised basket.

  So, if you want a decent brew from it out of the box, you need to mod the grinder which voids the warranty. Or immediately buy a separate grinder and non-pressurised basket.

  DeLonghi makes a lot of quality appliances, including capsule machines. However, expresso machines is not their strong suit.
