I have been watching this for a while. Similar or worse products are way above $60. Bad reviews are mostly due to item weight, but I've seen it and it is great for setting up fire anywhere.

People wanting lightweight firepits so leaving bad reviews… lol

Looks like a pretty good deal to me, though is retail price for this item.

Yes its this price everywhere now but they have $10 shipping extra amazon is free.

    • though is retail price for this item.

Shipped by and sold by 4WD Supacentre. If you went through their website you would need to add $10 for shipping. Other places for this exact brand seems to be about $60, on Amazon average price has been $70 from the last 11 price changes.

Seems like a good deal to me at least for this brand.

      Edit: OOS

People complain about the weight of mobile phones these days. People just like to complain in general I find.

  • Might be annoying without the bag.

  • Mate has one - does the job, seems well built - and it's only 35 bux. Good deal.

I looked at these but we wanted something light weight so went the Fireside Portable one.
    https://www.bcf.com.au/p/fireside-portable-popup-fire-pit/58… Its been excellent.

Friend has one of these, works really well once you drill a hole on each end for some air to get in

    • Thats a great idea , I have one and its ok but the holes would definitely help. For everyone else - yes its heavy , needs the bag , bag is great quality also, the whole thing fits under the front seat of a Patrol.

same price available on EBAY but with $10 delivery

    • What about eBay Plus?

    • +1

Thank you. Bought it using the $5 voucher for being Ebay Plus.

  • got one and used for a year or so, hasnt buckles. The cancas bag is handy for it. Also make sure drill small holes to allow the air flow and she will work a charm.

  • Have had mine for around 2 years - bought the bbq plate that goes over it so you can cook on it too.

You just need to leave some gaps when putting it together to allow for airflow, or do what others have done and drill some holes.

The weight is about what you'd expect for a steel pack-away fire pit. Make sure to get the canvas carry bag with it too.

  • Bugger. Missed it

  • I have one of these and its perfect for camping, we have taken it on a few trips now and cant fault it.

This one on special seems way better, has vents at the bottom for airflow and comes with a bag

  • Be warned. These are steel plates so don't try packing them into your camping backpack…they are heavy.

  • "Similar or worse products" that's a big call, I can't really think of any brands below kings.

  • Thanks OP. Missed the amazon deal but bought via ebay with the $5 discount from ebay plus. Just what we were looking for! Def will buzz in some extra breathing holes in that thing. Great deal. Surely even Adventure Kings can't stuff up a firepit too much! haha

  • doesn't work good. friend has one and he drilled holes at the bottom so you can get air flowing in there to make a fire. should come pre drilled, but i guess where the savings are.

    • Yeah there is a few youtube videos out there explaining how to go about this. Not that its difficult! And then it works like a charm.
