    z690 if you want to be able to overclock - I have used the MSI pro and asrock riptide and were good.
    z790 not worth it for me

    13600k good bang for buck

      Does z690 now come with 13th gen support straight out of box or does it still require BIOS update?

        Would depend on board probably, getting one you can flash without cpu would be useful
