Hey Oz Bargain Community,

If you're flat chat, just skip straight to the bold writing

We could hardly believe the wonderful support we received from the Oz Bargain Community during our previous deal a few weeks ago; together we set a new Lime Blue Coffee record, drum roll please…our new record is a whopping 191 up votes!!! Please know your continued engagement be it an order, up vote, comment or message sincerely means the world to us. We compare current levels of engagement to previous levels to see what we're doing right and what still needs more work. We still get ecstatic about positive feedback (up votes, comments, reviews, messages), upset about negative feedback (but in a positive way because the customer is still talking to us, so it's on us to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem) and just before we post a deal/launch a new product/even send out a package we still get nervous/excited. As long as we keep getting those feelings I think we're hopefully on the right track to never take you for granted and keep trying to make the Lime Blue Coffee experience even better…OK enough rambling from me, onto the good stuff now.

The time has come to say goodbye for now to our rotating featured Double Washed Process Colombia Huila Single Origin coffee, so we can get ready to feature a new rotating Single Origin (exciting things in the works), as such we've decided to launch a deal to farewell this wonderful SO :)

As there's not too much of this Colombia Huila Single Origin remaining, we've decided to also offer a discount on our much loved Brazil São Paulo Single Origin.

It's the perfect time to shout yourself or someone else a fresh coffee gift, so we're offering you a 40% discount off incredible Colombia Huila Single Origin Single Origin and our wonderful Brazil São Paulo Single Origin Coffees:

1) NOW SOLD OUT Colombia Huila Single Origin only $15.59 per 500g (usually $25.99 per 500g). Only available in 500g packaging increments to ensure we don't sell more than we have in stock. Of course, you can order more than 500g by increasing the quantity on the cart page

2) Brazil São Paulo Single Origin, only $14.99 per 500g (usually $24.99 per 500g), and $26.39 per 1kg (usually $43.98 per 1kg)

Deal valid for orders placed until 15/02/2023, unless sold out before. You can pick from the available green circle dispatch dates on the cart page. Dispatch can happen for you as near as tomorrow (Friday) and as far as the last Thursday in March. Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting
  • One dispatch per order
  • With our Brazil São Paulo Single Origin, if you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"
  • 500g bag packing (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $3.60 per kg including the discount (normally $6 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be written in the designated space on the cart page."
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag.
  • VIC|NSW|ACT|QLD|TAS|NT Flat Rate Shipping $6.99 No Delivery Company Preference, $7.99 Shipit-Courier's Please, $8.99 Australia Post, $12.99 Express Post, Live Quote Shipping at the checkout for Same Day Delivery as Dispatch in VIC in the highlighted map areas https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/361387/95314/same_day_…
  • SA|WA Flat Rate Shipping $9.99 Express Post. Regular parcels travel to SA & WA via train. The recent floods have damaged the rail line to SA & WA and a freight train has derailed, as such we've been informed by Australia Post that standard delivery to SA & WA is currently not an option for the foreseeable future. Express Post travels by plane, so it's still a viable option. We understand some of our SA & WA customers would prefer our "$6.99 No Delivery Company Preference" standard shipping option. Our Express Post option is usually $12.99. As Express shipping has been forced on us and you as the only viable option to SA & WA for the moment, to make the best of this situation we've decided to split the price difference and offer our SA & WA customers flat-rate Express shipping for only $9.99
This is part of Valentine's Day Sales for 2023.

      • I have to agree with you now. My most recent order from Airjo is POS. I believe these budget online roasters just simply send us whatever they have left until the next batch; and they do not seem to roast daily/weekly. There is probably no regularisation at all for this roaster industry.

I may just give up and pay extra for mainstream roasters then.

  • Thanks!
    Purchased 1K of Brazilian beans.

  • Purchased 1kg of each! Thanks!

  • Thanks heaps! LOVING these SO’s. Brazil São Paulo as long black to kick off the day and the Columbia as espresso. Been my staple for the last few months - keep up the good work and don’t change a thing! Your roast profiles are insanely good and always extract better than any other roast I buy!

  • Do you guys sell ground or just whole beans?

    • Hey @whipsy72 appreciate the check in!

We've got you covered either way for this deal AKA you can get whole beans or ground.

For our Brazil SO you're able to select between beans and ground on the product page. With our Colombian SO you'll only see beans available as we need to keep 1 product SKU for it to ensure we don't sell more than the remaining stock. If you'd like ground Colombian then feel free to fire off an order/s now and simply send a reply email to your order confirmation as soon as you get it with your pre-ground request mentioning the specific brew method you use e.g. espresso, plunger, pour over. We'll take care of the rest :)

  • 2nd time round of these Brazilian beans. They make really tasty milk based coffee :) Thanks

  • Is it possible to pickup instead of delivery?

    • Hey @noddyc43 appreciate you reaching out to check!

At present our fresh coffee is exclusively available via delivery. It's a bit tricky having click and collect for perishable goods as life happens and people scheduled understandably need to change sometimes at the last minute. It's on our to do list to see if we can come up with a system that works well for fresh coffee and an option to click/collect :)

  • For anyone who's had both, can you please explain how Colombia compares flavour wise to Brazil? I like Brazil and normally go for nuttier tasting coffees. I've read the descriptions, and Colombia seems more on the fruity than nutty side, but keen to hear opinions. This will be espresso with milk. Thanks.

I had the Brazil São Paulo SO couple of times a while back as part of prepaid 6x subscription and it was amazing for cappuccino. From LBC description Absolutely incredible white, it's the best suited Single Origin for milk based coffee we've ever featured. So if I have to choose one, I would probably pick it again, unless you want to try both beans.

Hi, I've only had instant coffee and don't have coffee machine,
is the ground one in fine powder so only milk and sugar are needed to make a coffee? and what's the difference between filter and espresso?

    • Hey @alohame I'm glad you reached out to check!

Our coffee is now instant, so you'll need some sort of brewing device to filter the grounds. Good news is you don't need to spend a fortune to get started. Your first coffee maker could be as simple as a Plunger from Ikea for $9. If you're not a fan of sediment in your coffee then perhaps start with an AeroPress. Once you've tried it, if you enjoy making fresh coffee at home you can look at upgrading your equipment.

The difference between ground filter and ground espresso is the level of coarseness. For example, if you get a Plunger you'll want coarsely ground coffee, so on your order select "Ground Filter" and leave an order note saying Plunger :)

  • Do you have any decaf deals coming up soon? I'm running low from my last order

    • Hey @safwanc appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

Decaf was featured in our previous deal in January a few weeks back. We tend to focus on one deal at a time, so I honestly don't currently know what our next deal will exactly look like, when it'll be or when we'll next feature our Decaf.

p.s. we still have it currently available at full price to prevent you running out :)

  • moka pot should use the espresso or filter grind size?

    • +1

Hey @bobloblawlawblog nice double check, better safe than sorry!

Ground espresso will be the winner for you :)

  • Ordered Brazilian beans last time to try out, only just opened it, so far so good for latte, will try a long black tomorrow.

Thinking about ordering a delayed shipping, is the Colombian beans good for milk based drink also?

    • +1

Terrific, appreciate you giving us a shot, thank you for the opportunity!

Glad you're enjoying our fresh coffee and love the planning ahead thinking. From an extraction perspective our Colombian SO cuts through milk really well, the flavour will be distinctively different from our Brazil SO, but still delicious :)

  • Thanks for the offer OP, seems like a great price per kilo for SO. Tell me, how dark is your ‘omni roast’? We drink exclusively filter and I’ve been burnt in the past by not buying filter specific. Honest thoughts? Cheers

    • +1

Hey @helpmehelpyou appreciate the frankness, nicely worded questions, you're perfectly suited to your username :)

I'd classify it as a medium, closer to a light than a dark roast. I personally start every morning with a pour over, then a bit later in the morning usually an espresso or Stovetop and perhaps an afternoon AeroPress (like to mix up the methods a bit) AKA from personal experience not just as the Roaster but also the home consumer our coffee extracts really well for filter and the flavour is well balanced.

There's two main differences between our omni profiles and a light/filter specific roast when extracted for filter:
      1) Our body has more depth
      2) Primary flavours are more pronounced

Not sure if the above is helpful, but hope it is. If you decide to give us a shot (which I hope you do) I'd recommend approaching our coffee/s as a new type of filter than what you've tried, perhaps hedge your bets by getting our Colombian SO and our Brazil SO are they're distinctively different to one another in virtually every way :)

We have done a bit lighter roasts before via our AeroPress combo bundles a while back and based on recent feedback we're looking at potentially getting some super high-end/uniquely processed coffees, which will likely be slightly lighter roast profiles. At this stage if we get them they'll just be featured for short periods and they'll be notably more expensive (could be a CM process or 90+ coffee or …) than the coffees in this deal and it's still not 100% decided if/when we'll get them and what they'll be.

      • Thanks for the honest, response. Order placed - for both! :) Let us know when you offer some filter specific roasts, will definitely place another order. Cheers

        • +1

Terrific response to receive, music to my ears, glad my answer was helpful :)

Thank you so much for placing your first order with us, it's truly appreciate and an opportunity we won't take for granted!

More orders sound fantastic; as I'm sure you can tell we do love the Oz Bargain Community, as such most of our deals gets posted here. However, there are occasions in which we send a deal/product launch out exclusively via our email newsletter listserv. This could be due to the nature of the product, the volume available, the fact that the deal is geared towards customers that have already ordered from us before…so if you haven't already joined our email newsletter I'd highly recommend you do just to be on the safe side, don't want you missing out.

p.s. hope you love our coffee :)

  • Hi OP is this deal still available?

    • +1

Hey @dajackal I extended it by a day as I like to answer any questions relating to placing an order before closing a deal and this week's been flat chat…

Deal's set to expire tonight, unless I need to play catch up again answering questions :)

      • Thanks ordered! Is 21/02 the earliest dispatch? I ask because my current batch of Colombia Huila SO is almost finished ;)

        • +1

Wonderful, thank you so much for placing another order with us!!!

This week's is a tad hectic, but we don't want you running out of the good stuff, so if we can dispatch it to you early we will. Please send a reply email to your order confirmation with the earlier dispatch request, no promises but we'll do our best to make it happen for you :)

  • Just got my delayed order of columbia beans, makes for fantastic espresso with my simpleton barista express + 1zpresso jxpro hand grinder setup :)))
