Hey Oz Bargain Community,

There a small ramble from me at the start of this post, so if you're flat chat please feel welcome to skip to the good stuff below in bold :)

WOW what a wonderful roller coaster of a financial year it's been for Lime Blue Coffee, filled with lots of new exciting developments and also new curveball hurdles which we were able to navigate through thanks to the amazing, continued support of this terrific community and all our Lime Blue customers. On 1st July 2024 I set out on a journey to achieve a number of audacious goals for Lime Blue across several different fronts. The goals were achievable, yet quite challenging to get over the line. In other words the goals I set were not quite out of reach, but a real stretch to get there. We hit and even exceeded some of the goals I set. That said, there's still some goals we're close to, but still not quite there yet, so we've still got some work to do in order to achieve them and less than a week to do it, hence the reason for this deal is two fold. First, it's my way some showing my sincere appreciation for all the incredible support we've received from you, which has enabled up to grow into what we are today and helps us push to be better every day. Second, we want to of course finish this financial year as strong as we can, with one final push to hopefully get over the line to achieve those few goals we've still got more work to do on. Hold onto your seats and get ready for this super duper deal to round off the 2024-2025 financial year!

I really want everyone to feel like they've been able to score an outstanding value for money deal in this last week of this financial year and I'd also love Lime Blue Coffee to be able to tick off achieve the last few remaining goals, so we can set a whole range of new goals on 1st July for the 2025-2026 financial year. As such, I've really tried to put our best foot forward with a whopping 55% off our sweet, delicious, super popular Thank You Blend, which is the perfect gift to give yourself or someone else. For those that absolutely love our Brazil São Paulo Single Origin you can also score a 40% on that too. I've also extended out the opportunity to lock in today's super pricing and delay dispatch as far into the future as 30 October, 2025. See more info below about this deal:

1) Thank You Blend, only $23.63 per 1kg (usually $52.50 per 1kg) and $13.61 per 500g (usually $30.25 per 500g)

2) Brazil São Paulo Single Origin, only $33.48 per 1kg (usually $55.80 per 1kg) and $19.14 per 500g (usually $31.90 per 500g)

Deal valid for orders placed until Wednesday 09/07/2025, unless sold out before. Dispatch can happen for you as near as tomorrow and as far as the last Thursday in October (30/10/2025). Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Gotta say love your writeups. Certainly gives some personality into small business.
Enjoyed the MTM (the only order we've done) when it was @ $21 in a bigger order, thanks. And family liked the SO colombia. Made good gifts. Tempted by this deal too for something special too… All the best for the EOFY admin.

  • Tried the Colombia Cauca Single Origin and Nectar of the Gods blend based on your recommendation. Both are really nice, the Cauca SO is definitely my favorite and would highly recommend. Smooth, fruity, and sweet.

For the price, I don't think its possible to find better coffee.

    • WOW @Joehax what a wonderful, complimentary vote of confidence, thank you so much for your fantastic orders and tremendous support, both are truly appreciated!!!

  • Can't wait for the FY26 SO deals!

    • Fantastic to hear!

We're still figuring out the SO line up for the year ahead, but we've already secured some exciting new additions :)

  • Would the blend be ok for pour over coffee as well? or Espresso and filtered the preferred method to enjoy?

    • Which method of filter are you using? Generally pour over is classified as a type of filter brew.
Haven’t had this particular blend but I’m sure it would be great in espresso or filter.

    • Hey @yontk appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

Literally just made an account to say that I'm going to finally pull the trigger on one of these deals. Only thing is that I'm a bit of a cofee novice and I'm hestitant about freezing whole beans - do you just chuck the bag in the freezer and then defrost it when you need to use it, and use 'em as normal? Or is there a preferred method for it?

    • Maybe just buy a kilo bag and see how quickly you use it. Keep it sealed and in a dark spot I'm sure it'll keep for a few months.

    • yes, chuck the whole bag into the freezer.
One day before your current bag finishes, just put it out. Or just directly use it from freezer for the first day. Won't make much difference.

      • I find grinding beans straight of the freezer tends to get less clumpy output. I'm guessing the little bit of moisture from the condensation provides similar effect as spraying with a bit of water

    • I put the whole bag into the freezer (if I'm not going to start using it within a week or so). Then I just take out what I need to fill the hopper on my grinder and return the rest (in a Ziploc-style bag) to the freezer. Grinding from frozen is fine.

      • Does it taste any different when grinding frozen beans in comparison to those not frozen?

        • +1

If you have a good grinder I think it wont matter, my grinder is definitely on the cheaper end so it seems to be better frozen.

        • I can't really tell the difference.

    • This 5 minute video from the world's greatest coffee guru is all you need https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uT5_IWWb00
      TLDR
      1) for 250g bag, just keep it at room temperature in the resealable bag, away from heat and light, assuming you'll drink it in 2-3 weeks. You don't need any fancy storage devices, the bag is good enough.
      2) for larger quantities of coffee you want to store for longer, optimal is to separate into c.250-300g batches in airtight jars, freezer bags or vacuum seal (yes you could also just freeze the whole bag until you are ready to use it, and then separate into jars/smaller bags; slightly less than optimal)
      3) Put the jars deep in the freezer where the temperature doesn't fluctuate and less light.
      4) Take out 1 jar at a time when you need it, let it defrost for a few hours/overnight. Grind the amount you need for that day (or you could grind the whole amount at once, depending on your grinder)
adjust batch size depending how much coffee you drink per day

      • Knew it would be the Hoff when you said guru, absolutely love his videos.

Right back at you…thank you for your thank you blend order haha :)

Terrific to know you're looking forward to the good stuff, jokes aside, please know your order really is appreciated and is something we don't take for granted!

  • Keen to try - what are the origins of the thank you blend?

    • Hey @CaptainM terrific to hear we've caught your attention!

We generally don't comment on our blend components simply because components change over time due to seasonality/availability, but what we strive to focus on is matching the flavour of each blend across changing components. The quality of our blends is on par with our Single Origins, but we really want flavour to be the focus of our blends. We utilise our rotating range of Single Origins to highlight both flavours and unique nuances of different growing regions around the world :)

      • No worries, thanks for the explanation. Will give it a try.

        • Wonderful, music to my ears, thank you so much in advance :)

  • dumb q, does this expire at end of day on july 9 or when it turns july 9th?

    • Hey @freestyle18 no dumb questions, just sometime questionable answers out there, so please always feel welcome to ask questions!

It will expiry at the end of July 9th AKA then the date turns to July 10th the deal this deal will expire, you've still got some time, but the clock is ticking, so I'd recommend getting your order/s in quick sticks :)

  • Thanks OP just ordered 2x Thank You Blends and 1x Brazil.

Which is best for milky drinks such as Latte's? Using a DeLonghi Magnifica Evo Next

    • Hey @Narchos fantastic to hear, thank you so much for that terrific combo order!!!

All the options featured in this deal are wonderfully delicious for both milk based and black coffees, so you should hopefully be all set :)

  • Hey tom @LimeBlueCoffee, I placed an order for the thank you blend. I was wondering how long do i need to leave it to degas? I’m completely out of coffee so once it arrives I’m going to take out some beans to use, but will that affect the degassing once I open the bag for the remaining beans?
I have one of those airscape canisters if that makes a difference.

    • Hey @roofyapple appreciate you taking the time to reach out and thank you so much for your recent terrific order with us, it does mean a lot!!!

Great questions. The coffee should be all good to get stuck in as soon as it arrives, but it will hit peak flavour 1-2 weeks after the roast date. Airscape type containers do have an impact, if you've got one you may as well use it, but if you're happy to keep the good stuff in our bag then that works too :)
