        I've bought from Airjo when on special 3 times now. It took 3 attempts to find a blend that suited me , but I have no complaints about them. Service has always been prompt, the coffee is fresh.

    Sumatra is nice, but waiting for a "all blends" sale as 'Twilight' is my favourite so far :)

    I don't get the hate you guys get, coffee is great and shipping is fast. Don't let a few haters deter you from posting deals, I appreciate you!

            @ShortyX: 2 weeks, thats great. From what ive been told by coffee snobs is you want to use beans between 10 and 30 days from roast date approx.

            @ShortyX: I get the roast date, but does the harvest date matter also? What's the age of the bean when it starts to become stale? I always wonder with these coffee beans that come from the other side of the world how long have they been sitting in storage or if that even means anything.

              @AussieDaddy: Good question. I’m definitely no expert. A quick search seems to indicate that green beans can go stale after 6-12 months but it can depend on storage conditions. And I’m not sure if stale green beans affect the taste after roasting (I’m assuming they do). I’ve tried Airjo beans before but for me, I couldn’t justify paying more over Aldi beans.

        Vittoria and lavazza are both half price right now for example. Can't remember if the roast date is on them but tbh i dont care. I can get 1.5kg of their beans for the same price as 1kg of these. Like i said i would like to know why the premium cost??

      I've been where you are and unfortunately, it's a case of having to try it.
      Words will never get the taste or smell to your senses.

      And of course each to their own, but for me, the extra $13 or so is worth it.

      Convince someone to try rib eye steak when they live on sausages and see nothing wrong with them.

        Sure, but it’s like walking past stores in shopping centres that literally always have a huge “SALE 70% OFF, MUST GO NOW, CLEARANCE, SALE 70% OFF” - it becomes rather clear that it’s just a marketing trick.

        This doesn’t change the fact their coffee is nice. Not twice as good as ALDI’s Brazil SO though, so I gave them a go only once, but understand not everyone has such low grade taste as myself :)

    my go to is ali and rose gypsy coffee beans at costco.. was $20 for 1kg now about $23 for 1kg. Good value. Calculated that avg home Cappuccino with almond milk costs around 60c vs $5+ from a coffee shop!

    Using the Aldi 1kg bag of ‘Brazil' beans. They are amazing for $17. Medium roast and suits my taste.
    Also, got P&R compliementary 2 packs (500g) from Breville and tried them. They are dark roast and little strong for my taste.

    Can anyone comment how this Sumatra blend compares to Aldi - Brazil beans ?

      Aldi Brazil bean roast level is about 8.5-9 in Airjo scale. Supermarket coffee are all roast long to get reasonable shelf life.
