I was looking for a gaming mouse (high polling rate) that has multi-device support and I landed on Razer Orochi V2. Seem like a good mouse that allows me to switch easily between gaming on PC and working on my laptop.

Same price as the previous run during Dec 2022.

  • It doesn’t seem like a good mouse; it IS a good gaming mouse.

  • Hmmm, looking to upgrade from my g305…..

    • Do it. I upgraded from a g305 and it is far superior all round with only exception being battery life.

      • What did you like about it more? If it is just the multipoint stuff I might stick with the g305 for the battery life

Much cheaper than the crazy $400 wireless viper mini they just released.

    • Lol you mean $449.95

Can buy this mouse and have $400 + in spare change.

I love my black Orochi V2 all apart from one thing - it takes batteries.

A rechargeable version of the exact same mouse would be an absolute winner. As it is I'm going through AAAs quicker than I'd like. I suppose I should learn to turn it off when I finish work for the day.

i have an orochi too and noticed it chews thru batteries too - one AA and one AAA since i got it last year in october. i looked it up and it seems that the bluetooth mode is less power hungry! save the 2.4ghz for gaming. i honestly dont notice a difference in latency for general use. defs turn it off for the night!

      • Oh that's interesting.

I don't (often) use this computer for gaming so I might switch over and see if it makes the difference. Thanks for the tip!

  • i have this mouse and i love it. great round egg hand feel, nice slightly textured plastic. the range of dpi is so useful. i have small hands and alternate between palm and claw grip with ease. definitely much more power hungry than other wireless mice ive used, though my experience is very limited - think replace every few months instead of every couple of years if you are using the 2.4ghz dongle several hours a day. bluetooth mode is less power hungry. a steal at this price imo

    Been cheaper

    Towels already has a mouse.

  • Great mouse. My daily driver. Previously a deathadder and g305 fan. This tops both of those easily.

    • What's better about it? Might try it out if it's just not the multipoint stuff

      • Feel, mouse clicks, material, subjectively gaming accuracy as well.

I've had multiple g305 get "double clicks" within a year or so.

        • how often did you have to change battery on the g305? mines every few months (i never switch it off)

sometimes it gets a dodgy (drop in/out) connection and the LED glows yellow.

          • @brownsound: g305 felt like 6-9 months to be honest. Orachi v2 feels like every 2-3 months on 2.4ghz. I've never tested BT tho.

  • Got this recently from eBay for $44 and it's a fantastic mouse for the price. Recommend!
