      • This why eSIM’s are so good as it’s immediate.

as a followup, after chasing them up on 23rd Feb, I got an email with tracking info.
By 28th Feb, the tracking info (Aus post) still showed up as "Pending".
I got in touch with these fwits via chat, they said they sent it out on 21st, I asked them to enter tracking info into Aus pos tracking, they went silent.
Basically palmed me off saying "get in touch with Aus post, its their problem"
Miraculously, tracking went live on 28th Feb and I got it delivered today 3rd March.

On the letter, was a stamp from Aus post with 28th Feb date on it, which makes me think these fwits mailed it out only on the 28th, after me chasing it up twice.

Purchased 17th Feb > chased up 21st Feb > chased up again 28th Feb > Delivered 3rd March to QLD.

Useless fools are running this joint. Good luck to anyone waiting.

  • Purchased mine on 16th Feb. No shipment notification till the 22nd. As of today still stuck in Sydney and it has gone nowhere.
There also seems to be no way of contacting Woolworths mobile, just a bot that mans the chat of their web page. What am I supposed to do?

@Toph Beifong go to chat with the bot, no matter what it asks, type in "talk to human", it will eventually get you to a brainless useless human working for this company.

      • Gold, my thoughts exactly!!!!

  • @dm02 - Appreciate any guidance you can give me.

I purchased this SIM after seeing this post as my current 365 day plan with Woolworths Mobile is about to expire. While logged in to my Woolworths Mobile Account I've gone to activate the new SIM, but there doesn't seem to be an option to keep my number, unless I'm transferring from a different servcie provider.

Is there any way to activate the SIM and keep my number as an existing cutomer?

Hi VitruvianFlan, no the SIM cards are for new services only.

      • Thanks dm02. I’ll try porting to another provider then back again before the new Woolworths SIM expires.

        • Such a hassle to save a few dollars and you won’t get your data rollover.

          • @bobwokeup: Yeah, agreed. Unfortunately I’ve already paid for the new Woolworths SIM, so this looks like the only course of action to keep my number and minimise loss.

            • @VitruvianFlan: Yeah damn that sucks. Maybe try contact support first and ask if they can do anything as you didn’t realise it was for new customers only? You never know unless you try…
