  I've been looking at the base Ecovacs N8 model, historical low was last year during Black Friday - Christmas at $399, probably will wait a bit before pulling the trigger. Otherwise its always been at roughly this price, they've been offering $150 coupons whenever they price it at $600, which is the same price as current discount.

    Typical amazon tactics, I've seen a few sales recently on amazon that are all like this, jacked up the RRP significantly to make the discount seem better than it actually is.

  These Ecovacs doesnt have Intelligent mop lifting - when a carpet is detected, the mop is lifted out the way

    So hard to find a robo vac that lifts mops.

    I’m not paying $2k for a robot vacuum if I have to manually swap mops over each time.

      I have one, and because of the high pile carpet (newly laid), the lift is useless anyway as the pad is still touching the carpet.
      So that function was a waste for me
