Not a fan of how they rehash this type of retro content for new gen of consoles and alleviate you of your money over and over again for the same games but they do have all the Street Fighter Alpha series for under 2 bucks.

nah best just to pick and choose a few at $1.42 i reckon - dont really need 6 more versions of Street Fighter - especially when i have bought most on xbox 360 before and have the ROMS in mame setup!

Good if you don't want all games however the 1st arcade stadium has been discounted to $30 for the complete collection which is a bit cheaper if you want all the games. The 2nd hasn't been discounted as much yet but probably will near the release anniversary date.

personally a lot of these games were way before my time when originally released so have no affinity to them - i am happy just to grab SF Alpha 3 out of all of this lot.
I did buy the complete set of Capcom Arcade Cabinet games on xbox 360, mainly cause it had a few all time classics like 1942, 1943, ghost n goblins etc…not gonna pay for them twice!
So it's also not the with the added characters from psp version right? Just standard Arcade version?

Nah it's not about environment. Street fighter Alpha 3 upper is what you want at a minimum. The GBA and PSP versions have more characters.
I'm interested if they port or remastered the PSP version as it's considered the definitive edition of the game. They haven't done that yet, I just thought they might have for this release. This game is my one of my favourite street fighter games of all time so I have 6 versions of it, Dreamcast, PlayStation, Arcade, GBA, PSP, Switch. GBA and PSP are the best.
Arcade Alpha 3 Upper to get around the platform issues. The PSP extras didn’t amount to much anyway.
It has 10 additional characters over standard 4 more than upper and all modes and full dynamic battle mode. It's considered the definitive version of the game.
I've played it quite a bit, still own the UMD. I just think Upper alone would be okay if Max was off the table. It's a shame none of the upgraded versions of Alpha 3 seem to get the re-release treatment.
@Poimandres: As it is an arcade port they only release the arcade rom. I think I never seen any updates to the arcade rom but the console versions make its lack of arcade performance with more characters. Too bad we never will get the console ports
@RQNinja: There was an arcade release of Alpha 3 with extra characters etc called Alpha 3 Upper. That should fit the MO.
