New to Churning Credit Cards for QFF Points

Hi All,

i'm new to churning credit cards for QFF points. I'm on my 4th card this year and am running out of options to churn.

I have opened up a NAB, CBA, Amex and Westpac card in the past 12 months. Other than those providers, I am running out of options (ANZ will be my next churn). Does anyone have any other providers that I can go with to receive QFF points?

Does anyone have any strategies to hit minimum spend? I've read that you can buy shares with credit cards and that will count towards the minimum spend. Looking for items that retains close to 100% of its resale value.

Thanks

Bank of Melbourne is one I did most recently as I too have recently churned the popular ones.

Use Sniip to get around BPAY minimum spend exclusion restrictions which is usually enough for me to hit minimums easily. I even can pay my rent with BPAY right now so that's already $1700 right there in possible spending each month.

Otherwise prepay some bills - power/gas, health insurance, etc.

Also - 4th card since January? Woah

      Doesn't Sniip have a 1.5% fee?

  • I had the direct Qantas money card too.

  • ANZ
Citi - says its expired but it's not, not points but great for cash.

  • Might be a dumb question, but can you cancel a card after a minimum period and then sign up again to the same type of card?
If so, what might be the minimum period?

    • Yeah you can - I think some cards have a 12/18 month cool down. You'd have to read the T&Cs

  • How many QFF points are you getting on average through the churns ?
