Where do people even fly drones anymore? Pretty much all of a major city is a no fly zone.

    • -1

They got a couple of grand out of a lot of peoples pockets before they introduced those zones. I wonder what kind of kick-back CASA got for delaying their restrictions.

    • +13

Okay seriously what the F is with ozbargain and this misinformation.

Download an app that tells you and you’ll see that there are plenty of places you can fly, outside of the actual city where you wouldn’t fly anyway. There are also drones in weight categories that have even less restrictions. The only prohibitive drone to use in the retail market is the FPV and that’s because you are legally required to have physical eyesight of the drone at all times.

Can we please stop spreading this nonsense that it’s useless if you live near any city. There are dozens of free apps that help you find places, the DJI app won’t even let the drone take off in no fly zones either.

Just Do It. The land was stolen anyway, why should the thieves now decide to make the rules.

15% off RRP is pretty much standard price from regular deals.

Getting a bit of Apple Store vibes from looking at the pictures

    Pocket 3?

  • +3

Try OP doing. 60% off RRP (close to cost ) to get more than a 1 person lining up .

  • Can I bring 7 friends and combine 7x 15% discounts into 1x 100% discount?

We would like to buy 7x Mavic 3's with RC's
Macic 3 Enterprise so I can troll people with the speaker
    1x 4D cam + transmission system
    DJI Docking Bay - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49AN8UxtR9Q

  • Do I get an extra discount for sending another Mavic 3 to Ukraine?

  • Is it worth camping outside the store?

Not a deal, more an ad

15% off? Lol. A bit early for April fools. Try again next time.

  • Could someone confirm what the RRP is for the DJI Mini 3 Pro Drone with DJI RC Controller?
    $1299?

    • -1

      Yes with 15% $1104.15

  • -1

15% off a fully loaded agras t40 sounds like a good deal

  • I love to use a drone when in Sydney since my office is at a beautiful location to launch a drone. However, I work right in the path of a CAT III ILS Approach.
And I am within a radius of Moorabbin Airport in Victoria so I cant fly it without restrictions.

These drones could all become a massive liability one day. Australian gov should ban all Chinese producers.

I'm not sure what's the point of Price Beat Guarantee if it cannot be combined with this 15% discount deal?
I agree with other poster here that this is more like advertising than a deal…
