  • I can only see 2% in cashrewards not 12 ?

    • 12% at Sony

If you get Sony to price match, how do you then purchase through CashRewards?

        • +1

Yeah, pretty sure there was a thread in the last week or so about cashback not tracking for CR when price-matching at Sony.

          • @djkelly69: I'd like to know more too. I didn't see anything about excluding this on cash rewards website. It also didn't mention having to add item to cart like it usually states.

            • @OldBugger:

I'd like to know more too.

Here is the thread, including TA's response. IMHO don't bank on getting the CR money if you price-match at Sony.

        • After price matching, the item appears in your cart. So you click CR first then be directed to Sony where your item is waiting. But cashrewards may not track still

          • @OldBugger: Can confirm I did this and have received the notifications from CR and Amex that their offers tracked.

Note CR value tracked on balance ex. GST

            • @Thudders: Thanks. Did you use the app or browser out of interest?

              • @OldBugger: browser, imagine jumping through the hoops for price matching would be a bit of a pain through the app

The XR85X95K is also at a big discount ($5,159) if anyone was interested. Quite a bit out of my budget. Hoping for sony to announce its new models and the XR75X90K sales to begin soon!

    • Is there a huge difference between 85K and 90K?

      • +1

        According to Rtings:

The Sony X90K is a higher-end TV than the Sony X85K and is better overall. The X90K has a local dimming feature, which the X85K doesn't have, resulting in better overall picture quality because it displays deeper blacks and gets brighter, so highlights pop more in HDR. The X90K also uses a different processor with a few more features, like the S-Center speaker input, so if you want the best features and performance, the X90K is the better choice.

        • Thanks. Hmm…. In Sony website, the price difference is only $200. Hopefully DJ will drop the price on 90K series as well. Fingers crossed.

    • Yeah that is a great price! I'm intending to buy it later this year, so fingers crossed this represents a potential future sale price too.

Lol Google TV. What is Android TV?

  • Dang just when I thought DJ was a sinking ship they suddenly start throwing out all these actually-good deals?

Don’t forget Sony AMEX statement credit for an extra $100 off

    • Is there any way to split payments across multiple AMEX credit cards?

  • Cracking deal

This vs the TCL 835 75" for a bright room?

    • +1

im holding out for the c835 imo seems to tick all the boxes plus more for a great price

  • Seems a great deal, great for sports with this high refresh rate?

it bugs me that this, the 75 inch model is called the X85K, why not X75K ?

    • +3

      KD75X85K

    • +2

The full model names are [tv size][screen type][model][generation]
So this is a KD75X85K - a 75 inch, LCD/LED (not OLED), 85 series (second to top LCD/LED model) from their 2022 range.

  • The 55" X90K is @ $1559 which I got Sony to price match and they put it in my cart on my account. With Amex and CR brings it down to $1271.92 with free delivery. My son didn't want to spend that much so I didn't pull the trigger.

  • Looks like this is no longer available.
