Does this work as an independent router? I already have HA Skyconnect, This could greatly extend my network if it can work just as a repeater.

May as well just get a Sonoff coordinator for around the same price and flash it with router firmware. Both -E and -P have router firmware now.

by that logic everything you have at home may be gateways considering all the parts in em that are made there.
I'm using a conbee off my pi for home assistant. Is this different in functionality, and is it better than conbee?
Can anyone confirm, that once this is setup via the internet, can this hub continue to work if the internet connection is disconnected? I would love that to be the case….
