  • $7.95 for shipping for orders under $99 otherwise free

    New hoselinks are junk

  • +1

Their products are overpriced, plus shipping if order under $99. Thanks for posting though.

    • -2

Yep. Their target demographic are oldies who prefer slightly better quality and great customer service and will pay through the nose for it.

  • This is perfect, I had some stuff in the cart.

I thought everyone liked hoselink what happened?

    • +2

Inflation and no free shipping under 99 happened lol

So in other words no real reason

        • Sold out already so can’t really help it.

  • No longer green? (Been a while since I've looked).

    • The minimum spend here refers to the condition to be able to qualify for the coupon. Not what you pay at the end.

    • Another way of seeing it as up to 60% off for the first $20, $8 minimum spend (considering the shipping), and free shipping for the rest I assume

      Edit: Just ignore me

    • C&C at Brookvale if you want it completely free.

  • Thanks OP. Needed a replacement flow control nozzle for my hose and didn't want to pay shipping for a $15 part. Now just paying shipping is worth it!

I got the 20m reel a couple days ago from Woolies with free shipping which took less than 5 days to arrive. Also used my usual gift card with Macquarie for an extra 4% off. Works out to be around $180. So roughly $30 off retail. It's a good hose that's more on the expensive side. Also have the 30m that's still going strong.

You can never have enough hose… If you know what I mean.

Not sure why you got negged but Woolworths marketplace is a good idea if you want to avoid shipping cost

I never knew I could get their stuff from someplace other than their website. This is good news. :)

        Thanks @Cheap Bastard. :)

  • I wanted to buy a spray nozzle to replace my leaky regular hose spray nozzle (not Hoselink) but got totally confused with the connecting parts and gave up. Didn't realise Hoselink was an exclusive system on its own.

    • Their nozzle can fit into existing connector if yours have 15mm standard screw in connector, otherwise you'll at least have to add on the hose to accessories adaptor set for $12.5. The cheapest way is to buy the hose and connector set using separate email addresses, so you pretty much only pay shipping fee twice.

  • Good timing to replace few connectors, hoping they won't cancel as the code seems a reward for a survey

  • I just checked two items $33.80 (rake and gloves) but with $7.95 shipping and $20 discount it came down to $21.75 which is $3 dearer than Bunnings. Now not sure if I should buy them, only if quality is better than Bunnings.

  • 20m Superflex Garden Hose + Starter Set and Compact Nozzle Starter Set for $79.90 shipped isn't bad I reckon.

Can I use this as a retractable dog lead?

I have used Hoselink exclusively in two locations for many years now and very happy with it overall. You can still get occasional leaks but these are fixed with a bit of maintenance. For example, you need to lubricate the spray nozzles occasionally, and you may lose a washer from the connectors which needs replacement. They have parts kits available to cover all these things and it’s pretty easy to fix. Way better than all the standard fittings I’ve used over the years, and much easier to connect and disconnect. Happy to pay a little extra for the quality.

The solar lights I've bought from Hoselink are the only ones from any brand that have lasted over 6 months, including stuff claiming to be "commercial" grade. Yes their stuff is expensive but it just works.

    • I bought these on a lightning deal on a punt in November 2021 https://amzn.asia/d/6nqQFKg

On a good day during this summer, they run from sunset to 2am so that's pretty impressive for something over 12m old.

  • Just tried code but said "Discount code isn't available to you right now". Pity. I was logged in at the time, maybe try without.

  • Code doesnt work for me…says its not available to me :(

  • +1

    I'm getting this at checkout
'SURVEY20OFF discount code isn’t available to you right now'

  • Worked for me. But….. I see i received their email offering 20 off if i did the survey. So targetted offer.

  • Still working for me - even before I logged in or provided any contact details. Thanks!

  • Does not seem to work once you hit the final step of the checkout process

    • Does it still apply and doesn’t work at checkout?

      • Correct. Applies initially when when heading to the final step of checkout it presents an error and adds $20 back onto the total price

        • Ah ok, thanks for confirming. I have marked it as expired.

          • @Pricebeat: Wonder if they'll actually process the orders or cancel them…

  • Processed coupon code correctly when I used a different browser and was no longer logged in. As soon as I entered email details as part of checkout (without actually logging in again but same email used for my account) it recognized that, gave message about rejecting code and added the $20 in per earlier comments. May work if you use a different email from any used previously, don't know if it also checks delivery address. Given it seems to be a targeted offer as mentioned by others, it might initially seem to work but could get rejected when you enter email no matter what it is unless on the target list. I only experimented because I wanted to make a non-urgent purchase, giving up at this stage and will hope for a sale sometime. Thanks for everyone's efforts.

  • Thanks OP
Originally ignored the email but this post made me go back and do it.

Ended up spending $100 to get free shipping ($8) and free gift ($35) THEN applied my $20 off for final value of $80, but the free gift and shipping stayed in cart!

So ended up being a decent deal considering some items were already on sale.

Hoselink is generally expensive but from basic research the root soaker is reasonably priced considering limited product options and because of Hoselink's decent flow control, the extendable cleaning brush will be useful for skylights and solar panels and price is manageable with discount applied.

Just got AusPost notification that my hoselink order from other day is now lodged with them ready for processing.

    Nice discount thanks OP
