I'm assuming that is due to existing licences in place but set to expire in the near future..
MS have offered Sony a 10 year deal.
What happens when Microsoft keeps buying up already licensed game studios.
Then Sony has no games and we only need to buy the Xbox Series Z at $2000 because it is the only viable console around and every game is priced at $200. Wow such a smart strategy and what great value to consumers…
Yeah it was Sony who started charging $110 for their games at the start of this console generation.
@sallan75: Agree 110 is a pretty wank price but has anyone paid RRP for a game on day one? I got Forspoken, NFS Unbound (digital from PS Store) and Sonic Frontiers for 68 dollars each. Closest I've gotten is GT7 a year ago, which i got for 97 dollars after scouring OzB and other sites.
Not disagreeing they did an anti consumer thing bumping price up but i just feel like RRP is a guide not the standard.
@sallan75: Mate, Mortal Kombat 1 on the Sega Megadrive was $150 in the 90s. What are you complaining about? Games are cheap these days. Wait a few months and you can get it for half price.. in the 90s games prices stays the same for years.
From what we've seen so far their management leads to bleeding of talent and no games are ever released. Yet to see any of their acquisitions pay off beyond a Hi-Fi rush drop from Tango (who has now just lost their studio lead)
Yep they are all money, and as past dictates, they are a huge company that takes ages to move anywhere or catch up if at all.
Minecraft Dungeons is one of the best local co-op games with kids!

2042 is actually pretty good now. Worth jumping back in if you played it at launch
Comments like this always inspire me to try again but every time I try I still don't like it. The last time I tried was maybe six weeks ago and it's still the same story for me. I just can't get into it. I'd like to get into it (I'm not one of those people angry with the game) but for whatever reason it just completely fails to hook me in the way that past BF games hooked me.
It was but then they introduced class system on top of already existing hero system. Basically, forcing people to unlearn thier old play style and learn new play style.
Funnily enough I installed it yesterday and already came across a few bugs during the initial intro round

The game was sold for $9 in some places for a while there.
One would be lucky to get a few bucks for it now.
$5 buyer here. Didn’t regret the purchase but regretted the time wasted trying to play it
More like almost the whole year it was sitting at $9. This year however, has many games bumped up in price.

Even some of the original PSVR games that are getting updated for v2 would be nice. Would also push me towards getting a PSVR2 a bit more as well
No Mans Sky is half price at the moment in the PSN store and it's getting a free VR update…I just bought it as i intend on getting the PSVR2 soon as i pay off a few other things :P Traded my PS4 version of No Mans Sky when i got a PS5 so should be a decent upgrade if i get back into it…and will definitely be worth a look at in VR.
Codevein is a great game for anyone whole loves the souls genre.

It is a souls game so more than likely you will enjoy it if you liked Elden Ring. However, do keep in mind Elden Ring is on a whole another level in terms of scale, story, and lore.
Everybody must be so excited for 2042 to be a deal on Plus.

Battlefield 2042 is quite a fun game now, I'd highly recommend it :)

I already have BF 2042 on Gamepass, but Minecraft Dungeons will be nice. Never heard of CODE VEIN, but games with all caps in their name all suck except the original DOOM.
Thought I'd try battlefield 2042.. Couldn't find a game after 20 minutes of trying with cross platform on.. Deleted instantly
Minecraft Dungeons easily the best one this month. If you’re thinking of trying BF, play MCD instead.
How come there's no included ps5 games under essentials??
