Stay at the beautiful Stoneridge Estate where you can relax and unwind overlooking the estate’s vines and stunning Lake Hayes. Enjoy cooked breakfast each day, wine and cheeseboard each afternoon, as well as use of their outdoor hot tub and lap pool. Explore the Queenstown/Arrowtown areas in detail and indulge in some unique local experiences (optional – not included) or simply enjoy the lodge’s amenities.

Next up, head South along Lake Wakatipu and through Southland’s green pastures to Fiordland Lodge, where you’ll enjoy stunning views over Lake Te Anau and exceptional Kiwi service. Enjoy a hot tub and sauna experience overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains, cooked breakfasts, as well as the option to enjoy several wilderness experiences (at an extra cost) or glorious nearby nature walks such as a section of the Kepler Track, or various short nature walks on the Milford Road through dense beech forest at the base of towering mountains. Here is also the option to visit Milford Sound and enjoy a cruise (1.5 hour drive each way from Fiordland Lodge) at an extra cost.

      Hi Ronan, considering that Fiordland lodge is usually over $1250 per night if you book direct, I beg to differ. We are having a special on the special, hence the reduction does not look that impressive in the title but we do believe the is a good deal.

    I used The Road Trip a few years ago as it was the first time I didn't have time to organise a holiday myself.
    I asked them for an off the beaten path custom itinerary with a few must-have locations and activities in the south island.
    Highly recommend them as the trip was great, their support before, during and after was excellent and the prices were reasonable.
    I know I sound like a shill but figured I'd give them a shout out as they are new here.
