  • What type of drink are these?

    • +5

      Free ones!

      • +1

        Of the liquid variety. Yeah?

    • Nando's gave me a free one of these. Tastes like a raccoon has gone through a blender.

      • +4

So you're not into blended racoons?

      • I think kombucha tastes like someone swept a dirty floor then transferred the dirt with a dustpan and fermented it with a little tea and mold. Look up how it is made it is disgusting and isn't far off.

Also: "In short, there isn't enough proof that kombucha tea has the health benefits that some claim. At the same time, cases of harm have been reported. People who are pregnant or breastfeeding or who have weakened immune systems should avoid kombucha tea. Others may drink the tea if they like the taste, but only if it comes from a trusted source." -Mayo Clinic

        • +4

Look. No one said it's all benefits. And no one also said that it's harmful. It's better than water and causes less problems than beer or coke. So go with kombucha

          • +3

@Raj09: How is it better than water?

            • @No: I'm assuming they're meaning due to the probiotic content

        • -1

People who are pregnant or breastfeeding or who have weakened immune systems should avoid kombucha tea.

As they should avoid sushi, shellfish, cold cuts, etc, etc. Such a weak sauce argument 🙄

A tentacle of the drug cartel doesn't want people consuming probiotic foods and beverages (but is very keen on people taking poisons, like chemotherapy, antibiotics, antihistamines, statins, fluoride, etc) — what's new?

    • +2

Kombucha. It's tea. And it's great

      • +1

Kombucha tastes like your avatar looks. I don't mind that people like it, I don't mind that you choose to drink it. But surely it's quite awful to the median person (median person doesn't include the Look-at-Me's… or maybe that IS the median these days? sigh) and can't deserve the amount of shelf space it gets

        • Dude. You need work

          • @Raj09: I cannot agree more, Raj09! Tell me more about your avatar, Einstein alias justtoreply!

  • +2

I can read kombucha. Couldn't make out what the other was.

grab yourself a free bevvie. OK, Maybe two if you ask nicely.

I will grab as may as I can and if you stop me. Imma unleash the karen. 🤣

    /karen

    • Kom bucha lips around this organ dnick
      Ha… Gotten!

  • VIC / NSW / WA / QLD / SA

  • The Sodaly Guava is ridiculously sweet and the guava flavour isn't very strong, but leave it out and you still get that nice pungent guava smell.

Their Passionfruit Kombucha is great though

  • If I'm in Adelaide, will you tell me where Stephen lives?

    • +1

Right next to the Myer Centre

  • Is Sodaly good for children?

Sure is! Not only is Sodaly 100% natural, it contains no sugar and has a range of flavours kids will love.

    I'm rofl'ing. Less shit != Good.

I also hate it when companies get all high and mighty about being sugar free, only to pack their product full of stevia.

    • Well technically….

      /shitstirring

    • only to pack their product full of stevia.

      And?

Stevia is a zero-calorie natural sweetener that has been used in South America for centuries as a health remedy. Green-leaf stevia is only about 10–15 times sweeter than sugar, making it safe to consume in powder form. (Winter 2020 issue of American Fitness Magazine)

      • Stevia is a substitution for the underlying issue that they can't make a natural product taste good

        • Stevia (extract) is a natural product.

          • @wisdomtooth: And a sweetener that is totally unrelated to any of the flavours this product advertises on the bottle…

We're not going to agree. That's fine.

            • @justtoreply: Same as sugar (sucrose, actually, or high fructose corn syrup, more often) is a sweetener not explicitly stated as sweet "foods" and beverages.

  • booch

    Cringe.

  • Tried it. Wasn't a fan. To me it's only worth 10c via container redemption lol

  • A high chance you'll also get one of these for free with your DashMart order on DoorDash.
I've made like 3 orders with them and every order had a can.

The one located at 582-590 Elizabeth St, Melbourne VIC 3000

  • Too far away, surprised not more locations in Sydney. Never tried it so would stop by if a reasonable distance away. Weekend traffic to Manly is a nightmare on the weekends :(

  • +2

Have tried many flavours at an event, the pink lemonade one is the only one I like.

    • I love orange squeeze and buy it all the time in big bottles.

  • -1

Had one today, the bottle must have been shaken as it sprayed all over me in public. Also tasted terrible anyway

      • +1

And why is she watching a walrus shave her face? Is that why the lady in the background has her arms folded and the face on?

    • Got mine about 20 mins ago so they're still there. Came here to post bargain. Beaten to it…

      • +1

        That’s a weird fetish, indeed

    • That lady in the background doesn't look happy with you taking her photo without consent.

      • What is the Samsung chick watching on her phone tho 😳

        • 😅 i think its a video call where the lady is shaving her face

      • Probably just starstruck
