They have been spamming me saying $20 a month for 6 months - expires 13 march

  • Does Kayo basic include live F1

    • +1

Basic is max 2 users, there's no content restriction.

      • Isn’t only a single screen now?

        • -1

          Correct. $2.50 for another screen/user.

        • +2

          According to the Kayo website
The "Basic" package is 2 screens.
There is a new "One" package that is 1 screen only.

Waiting to see what Telstra customers get - been on Basic for 2 years @ $15/mth but now that Kayo has jacked its prices, I suspect that it might be full whack and which point I will just have it for the footy season and they will lose out

    • +4

I'm in the same boat. 2yrs @ $15/mth just ended. Now $30/mth unless I can find a better deal.

Costco sell $100 Kayo gift cards for $85 so there's a 15% saving at least. I grabbed one last week.

Best i can see without being a Telstra promo is the AFL kayo digital memberships. Cheapest seem to be the bulldogs and kagaroos (I dont watch afl so dont really know the teams) and they are $220 and include merch and 12 months kayo basic. There was a post about it on here a few weeks back but a few teams do it at different prices. Just google "kayo digital membership"

    • Yep this was me
Ended last month and tried charging $30
      No chance
Have text me two times offering kayo for $25 for 6months
      Pfffft

I had an offer through Telstra for 12.50 a month for 12 months

  • Boxing PPV included or extra?

    • PPV are always extra

  • I am being offered $5 per month for 3 months

    • Same. I accepted.

  • +5

    Haven't been offered anything :(

    • +3

Me too. been waiting for a deal. Need one before this Sunday :(

      • What's happening Sunday?

        • +1

The start of F1 season. Waiting too!

          • @aleminium: Time to start viewing it for free from another country. Kayo still thinking they have you by the b***s. Google is your friend but given the high demand for live F1 beware the many dodgy sites setup to infect your device and/or steal your data.

  • Mine is a $5/m for 2 months.

  • +2

I've always wanted to sign up to kayo so can watch all AFL matches with Geelong cats I follow as they don't have all their games on free to air tv but kayo prices so expensive for 1st time user, I might think about it.

Kayo has ads in between sporting events. Paying for advertisements as well as sport.

    • +1

      optus sport is probably worse

    • Yes, but no ads during the telecast. Added to this, you get so much sport to watch, at about half the price of Foxtel it's a no brainer for me.

      • They removed Eurosport. 😒

so far, only got $25 pm for 6 months.

Expires in a few days so hoping they may offer something better, otherwise, I'll just get one of those afl digital memberships

    • I had that last month and this..
      not good enough

  • My recent offer is expiring mid-March. Hope to get a new deal soon for footy season.

  • If anyone has an offer for 6 months they would like to go halves on, please PM me.

  • I only got offered $20 for 6 months a few days ago, my sub ran out yesterday.

I was paying $15 through Telstra before that

  • +1

I've not received anything on any email addresses. Guess im on the *(&^ list.

    • +2

They have asked me to come back on email and message but no discount offered

      • Yeah, likewise on all my 5 old accounts! Not a sausage of discount offered in the emails received. Strange, had they offered I might have taken one up.

        • me either, never received a single offer

  • I tried Kayo but i found their streaming service less reliable than the streams I can find for free on kodi.

    • What’s the URL for kodi? Thanks

  • Oh, I have the email, it says "Click here for further information on how to apply your voucher code." but I can't see the code anywhere.

    • Should be embedded in the URL.

  • Anyone keen to share account? Looking for 2 people to share cost for 7 months (NRL and AFL season) $80. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/760379

  • If you've never been on Kayo, there is no 4k and the quality of the 1080p is ordinary as they use so much compression that in would rival your favourite porn file from the mid 2000s.

  • +1

(only) slightly related, but how do you all watch F1? Kayo seems a tad too expensive to have just for F1.

    • Share with another and during big gaps, just let it expire and download the race from online places. The Practices and Qualies are free. Mar & April have big gaps this year but might consider starting around 29th Mar when MotoGP also starts…note the word might :-)

    • I have just sucked it up the past few years. Will probably again.

    • I just signed up to F1TV Pro. Worked great last night.

You can choose broadcast (F1TV or Sky commentators), can jump into onboard cameras for all drivers and has track maps and timing.

Native apps for Google TV and Fire TV as well.

You'll need a VPN to sign up and watch though. I've still got NordVPN from some 98% cashback deal a while back.

Signed up via NZ and paying $12/month.

      • what vpn did you use and method of payment? I'd rather do this than anything else but I heard some people had issues.

        • Used NordVPN and signed up using the F1TV app, using Google Pay payment method (in my case a Westpac MasterCard).

It didn't like it initially but eventually went through (I think I may have turned off VPN when on the final confirmation page but can't remember, sorry).

    • I used to sub to Kayo even though it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Cancelled and dont really want to resub

  • $17.50 p/m for 12 months (through Telstra).
But I originally started out on $5 p/m when switched over from the free AFL Pass, then to $10 p/m. So even jumping to what seems a decent price at $17.50 is still hard to swallow. Especially when you've also got Netflix, Amazon Music Unl and Prime, and Disney (cheap).

  • Unsubbed last footy season. No email offer to return, but can access the Telstra offer.

If you sub now (Sat or Sun), it looks like you can get away with only 6 months and cover the entire normal NRL season and go back to FTA for the finals as the final games are Sep 3rd.

    • How do you access the Telstra offer? Can’t see it in my account. Currently on a Telstra deal that expires next month I think.

  • No offer just paid $25 for 1 screen but as a newcastle knights supporter I don't think i'll last the full season
