Gee, I thought $20 for a bale was top price for good hay.

    • I remember not that long ago when it was like 2.50-> 5 bux a bale for normal grass. they are like what 20-30kgs?

      • Yeah, they lift like a 20kg bag of feed. The price rose in the millennium drought and stayed there. Easily $20 plus for good lucerne in SEQ.

  • wow, $25/kg + delivery, I never know that the hay are such expensive.

This is the creme de la creme of hay. By a well known brand too

  • What would be wrong with feeding your pet fresh grass clippings instead of hay? Better yet, have them maintain your lawns for you. Most if not greens at the supermarket are less than $25/kg.

    • They dig under your fence to try to escape. My rabbit did this and was killed by neighbour's dog

      • Wascally wabbits. Sorry for your loss. The little critters could still eat the grass below in a cage with a widely meshed floor. They'd be safe from cats and other predators too but a sitting duck for snakes.

          That's true.

I wasnt attached to the rabbit. She was a bitter anyway.

          • @cute as duck: Ouch. Apparently, biting can be a sign of love sometimes.

    • You may have rabbits that live inside, eg. you live in an apartment.

  • Wow! Sign of the times…..

  • They don’t call horses hay burners for nothing. Fastest way to turn money into sh1t
