  • 60mins is impressive

    • Don't believe the lie, shit battery. Check the reviews

      • +1

It's not lies. No one is claiming 60 mins runtime.

Our wireless vacuum cleaner can be switched between 3 modes: economic mode (5-6KPa suction for 60 mins), standard mode (12-13KPa for 30 mins), and max mode (26-28KPa for 15 mins).

Makes sense. Lowest power mode will do 60 minutes. Max mode does a lot less, like pretty much all other stick vacuums.

  • Unfortunately, not able to purchase spare battery.

  • Hi Trouver!

    • Trouver batteries didn't fail. The battery controller died. Plus Uoni aren't claiming to be Xiaomi or Dreame… unlike GShopper did with Trouver.

      • +1

Do you have details on what failed in the battery controller? Can it be fixed?

        • Board itself apparently. You'd need a new board from the factory and Trouver just gave up on that model and moved on.

          • @Clear: Do you know if anyone done any further work to identify which components are gone on the board?

            • @Punkboy: AFAIK it's the board in the battery. The cells themselves are fine.

  • Thanks Op, will give it a go. I had Xiaomi dreamer 9 previously, 15mins run on battery and does the job.
    60 mins is impressive.

    • +1

You know 60 min is at the lowest power right?

  • I picked one up last deal and have been using for a few weeks, runtime is good and works well on hard floors, but no so good on carpet, my LG CordZero A9 works much better on carpet,

    • +3

I looked up the LG and it's $500-$900ish. I'd be worried if the Uoni outperformed it.

      • yea but my LG is 3 years old and still going strong, it came with two batteries, two power heads, two pre filters, a free standing stand, and a bunch of other accessories,

          • +2

@Rod M: Exactly. A near $500 vacuum out performing this is to be expected. Despite the age it still has better specs.

        • +3

And you could buy three of these and still not have spent as much as you did.

Are you going to tell us how much better a Mercedes is over a Kia next?

Or perhaps just don’t compare apples to pineapples?

  • Last time I bought $99 chinese vaccume like this from ozb and it only last 6 months after that battery dead, couldn't find spare battery anywhere in the world so throw away.

  • Coupon is down to 52% off btw, bringing the price to $192 now, not really enough for me to pull the trigger sadly
